Welcome to Woodwinds 1309 an exquisite 4-bedroom plus den, 3-bathroom tri-level townhome with a private Hot Tub and attached 2 car garage. Perfectly situated jon the greens of the Sierra Star Golf Coarse and just 5 minutes away from the Eagle Lift/Chair #15, this residence seamlessly blends comfort, luxury, and convenience. Sleeps up to 10 people.

Step into the warmth of the spacious living area adorned with a cozy gas fireplace, LCD TV, and high-speed WIFI, ensuring relaxation after a day on the slopes. The well-appointed kitchen features modern appliances, and the convenience of a washer/dryer within the condo makes your stay effortless.

Enjoy the crisp mountain air and breathtaking vistas from the large deck, complete with a BBQ grill, table, and chairs. Indulge in your private spa with a view overlooking the golf course, providing a serene setting for ultimate relaxation.

Sleeping arrangements are tailored for comfort, featuring a King in the master bedroom , a Queen bed in bedroom 2, another Queen in bedroom 3, and a Full size and Twin size bed in Bedroom 4—each bedroom equipped with a flatscreen TV (except bedroom 4). The den features a queen sleeper sofa pull out and a large flat screen tv.

The home is fantastic with lots of space. The house is starting to show wear as a rental (stains on carpet and damaged dining room table surface), but the home was clean and everything functioned properly. We only wish the second floor balcony was cleaned for our arrival because everything on the balcony was covered in a thick layer of pollen and dust. Overall, great experience and wonderful location.

Great place! Great location! A couple bumps with check in process (the keypads are fidgety and weren’t working). The hot tub wasn’t working either. However, five star lodging was quick to respond and quick to fix the problems. Overall, very happy with our stay.

Great for our large family

We had an awesome post Christmas stay at this cozy place. Plenty of room for us and our adult kids. Well appointed and the private hot tub was clutch after skiing.

Great Family Stay

This home accommodates our growing family very well, with plenty of space, good location and the amenities we were looking for. Nice garage/driveway parking. Quiet golf course neighborhood and easy access to the ski lifts and town. Nice space for family meals and to socialize around the living room. The jacuzzi was a nice treat for the snowboarders at the end of the day. I would recommend this home for families and groups where everyone likes their own rooms. Thank you!

Great Stay

This place was perfect for a ski weekend in Mammoth. Only about a 10 minute walk to the shuttle that takes you to eagle lodge. We were there during a blizzard, but the roads leading up to the place were very well kept and had no problems getting out. The space was perfect for 10 people. 395 was also closed on the day of checkout and the rental priperty let us stay until 2 pm when it opened at no extra charge. We will absolutely be coming back and booking this place again.

A Wonderfully Comfortable Stay at Mammoth Mountain

We had such a fantastic experience at this vacation rental in Mammoth Mountain! The property was incredibly clean and thoughtfully prepared, with everything we needed for a cozy and relaxing stay.Comfort was clearly a priority here—every detail made it easy to feel right at home. The kitchen was well-stocked with all the essentials, making it a breeze to cook meals and enjoy family time around the dining table.The check-in and check-out process couldn’t have been smoother, and the hosts were communicative and kind, always ensuring we had what we needed. Megan holds a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and brings an extensive background in hospitality management, sales, and marketing. Her expertise has also led her to serve as a consultant for other resort management companies, helping elevate hospitality standards throughout the industry.

In 2026, the Oepkes family joined Megan as partners in Mammoth Five Star Lodging, bringing years of hospitality experience serving guests throughout the Eastern Sierra. Together, they share a common vision: offering premier short-term vacation rentals complemented by personalized, attentive service that consistently exceeds expectations.

Originally from Carlsbad, California, the Oepkes family has been vacationing in Mammoth Lakes for more than 50 years, spanning three generations. In addition to their extensive hospitality experience in the Eastern Sierra, the family has successfully managed hospitality operations in both Hawaii and Texas. In Hawaii, they provided full-service short-term vacation rental management for a portfolio of 25 properties, overseeing every aspect of the guest and homeowner experience. In Texas, the family owns and operates a 182-room full-service Holiday Inn, bringing extensive experience in hotel operations, guest services, and hospitality management. Their deep connection to Mammoth has grown from decades of family traditions into a passion for helping others experience everything the Eastern Sierra has to offer.
