This home away from home has a lot to offer with beautiful beaches, local snorkeling, and eateries all within a 10-minute drive.

QUIET TIME:
This is in a gated residential community, please be mindful of our neighbors, no parties, no events, or large gatherings, HOA requires quiet hours 9:00 pm - 8:00 am.

PARKING:
Driveway parking. No parking allowed on the street and road while the garage is only intended for entertainment room purposes.

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the entire home except for a few closets, and cabinets that we have locked.

Great stay

The property is perfect for a quiet location. You have plenty of beaches within a few minutes away, you can hear the peacocks in the hills around you and the neighborhood is very nice. I would definitely recommend a stay here.

Views were amazing

Very nice views of the mountain, little but nice view of the ocean from the outside gazebo. Nice safe neighborhood in gated community. Close to local very clean beach.

The house was clean, well set up, and comfortable for a group of 6 adults. Plenty of beach equipment and basic spices and cooking needs. The bed were comfortable, but the bedrooms could have used more drawers for unpacking clothes. Finally, we were not advised of traffic to island attractions and found the location unexpectedly remote. We needed lots of travel time to Pearl Harbor and Waikiki. To see anything outside of Waianae, expect a lot of travel time. Nevertheless, the house and views were very nice.

It was a beautiful, quiet, peaceful place to stay, we visited the busier areas of the island but enjoyed coming back to the quiet the most. The wildlife you get to see and hear was spectacular!

Peaceful paradise

It was great to be able to get away from the hustle and noise. Beach located within 15min drive. House was very accommodating. The kids liked that they had their own rooms. This place had everything for baby and up. Highly recommend. Mahalo!

Home away from home

This is our first VRBO experience and it was wonderful. Beautiful views and a warm inviting feeling makes this place a home away from home, for us.Tje drive to anywhere is a bit of a journey, but over all still worth it. Our family was able to share the space with my brother and his. We allabsolutely enjoyed the games in the garage and took advantage of the popcornmachine for our movie night.

Home away from home

This is a 4 bedroom home with 2 1/2 baths, well appointed, in a nice gated community away from the crowds. We enjoyed our stay with Marbella Lane. Hopefully we find them at other wonderful destinations!

The view was beautiful. The house had several little issues such as lights not working. The handle on the tub loose. The location unfortunately was above the area where the beaches were filled with homeless people. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful home

Great place, wish we knew when we booked that most attractions we planned to visit were on the other side of the island. House was clean, lots of lil touches that were appreciated. Can watch the sunset from one of the bedrooms!!wish they would include cleaning supplies to wipe counters down, and hand towels in restroom. I also would suggest additional kitchen towels. When we arrived the family prior to us had an overabundance of garbage, we had no room to throw our garbage away. Had to pack up and take it to dispose of our trash which was a hastle. Had a great stay overall!!

Marbella Home Stay Was Good!

The home was new and in a gated community. It accomodated our family of six adults comfortably. We were surprised that this home had no ventilation/fan in the bathrooms and had to leave door open to avoid steaming up. A few of the stove knobs were worn and just spinned so had to swap knobs to control the burners. Not sure if listing mentioned that all the bedrooms are on the second floor, so got our workout going up and down the long flight of stairs. Would have appreciated room darkening window covering as bedrooms were to bright to early in the morning. We enjoyed sitting out in the backyard but could hear the neighbors as all surrounding homes backed up to each other.

Overall, the rental was decent. The property managers were very responsive and pleasant to deal with. Our biggest issue with the communication was we specifically picked this place because of the pool as we have 3 young kids. There was no communication before hand to let us know the pool was out of commission for the entire duration of our stay. So we were pretty disappointed to learn this upon our arrival and we only got a "we are sincerely sorry" as a response. The place was very clean and stocked well with toilet paper, spices, shampoo/conditioner/body wash. Beds were comfortable. Air conditioning in every room. The 2 rooms on the back of the house have oceanviews. One thing to note, in the photos on the listing it shows oceanviews from the backyard under the canopy, but there was not. I think this was just due to growth in foliage. However, the surrounding mountain views were absolutely beautiful. The listing also showed having a blender and it did not, but the PMs had one dropped off the following day, which was greatly appreciated, along with some steaks knives that we requested. The community is gated and we felt very safe. If you are looking for a great beach for small kids that's close by be sure check out Pokai Bay Beach. It's protected by a rock wall and the waters are very calm and there are a bunch of turtles that hang out there. All in all we had a wonderful vacation and we're grateful for their hospitality. $500 Cleaning Fee for a Dirty House in a Homeless Infested Area

I wanted to like this house. When we came in and the carpet was badly stained, the bathroom fixtures were loose and most of the beach equipment was damaged we thought maybe it’s just regular wear and tear. What we found that was unacceptable was a surprise prompt to collect $45 for “a worry free stay” (Whatever that means), vodka bottles under the bed, hair and pubic hair in the bedding, dirty linens in the bathrooms and a community that is ravaged by homeless and drug users. Don’t believe the pictures, they are out of date and even though the community is gated, don’t think you are going to venture less than 30 minutes to get to a place that is safe. To be clear, a few of these issues we contacted the host about and they offered to send someone to wash the linens (Because I always look forward to strangers in the house I’m renting for something that should have been done), a replacement umbrella (Which we declined because we didn’t need it after that and had already lugged a broken one to the beach), and asked us to take pictures of the uncleanliness (Not my job or something anyone should have to do on vacation). As we discovered more stuff I didn’t bother reporting it because I would have spent half my vacation taking pictures and reporting on things that should have been inspected by a property manager in the first place. If you find the number of bedrooms at this price a good value and worth booking anyway, you will at least do so knowing what to expect.
