Whimsical Creekside Cabin

Escape to our cabin in the Blue Ridge Mountains! Fall asleep to sounds of Little Mary’s Creek, enjoy your coffee on the wrap around deck, or delight in exploring your own 7 acres in the forest. Our cabin is a cheerful, clean cottage to come home to- or decide to spend your days on property splashing in the creek and sitting out by the fire pit.

The space
Our cozy cabin is a new build that celebrates our relationships and planting roots in Virginia.

It comfortably sleeps 4 with a queen bed on the main level and 2 single beds in the loft. We are happy to accommodate a 5th guest on a trundle bed in the loft for an additional fee. Please note that the loft is accessed by a mounted ladder with a safety railing, which may not be suitable for all guests.

The eat in kitchen is fully stocked to prepare all of your meals. We provide organic coffee and teas, sugar, creamer, olive oil, salt and pepper. The bathroom features EWG certified clean shampoo conditioner and local artisan soap.

Unplug, explore, read from a carefully curated selection of books, or play a number of favorite games. Turn on the tv upstairs or the portable DVD downstairs to enjoy a variety of movies.

Our cabin is on the side of the mountain with some steep terrain and lots of natural elements outside to discover. The creek is a fun place to splash and explore.

Cell phone service is very limited.

There is no Internet at this time.

Note that in all of the beauty and serenity of nature, there can be dangers. Please be aware of your surroundings- and remember that we share this amazing property with insects, plants, and animals that are native to the Blue Ridge Mountains.

We loved our stay at the creekside cabin. The creek, the fire pit, and the cozy atmosphere were exactly the unplugged break we needed. Alicia was so generous with local information and a fantastic local hike recommendation. We'd love to stay again!

We loved staying in this cabin, playing in the creek, and hiking nearby on our short weekend getaway. It is very thoughtfully stocked and had lots of games, books and dvds for kids to enjoy. We really had no complaints at all and would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a cozy cabin in the woods!

It was a very cute, quaint cottage off the beaten path. The living area was small with only a loveseat for seating. There were three of us so we brought a rocking chair in off the porch for a third seat. I loved it

The cabin was adorable and cozy and the area around it was gorgeous. It was too cold for much time around the firepit, but it was relaxing to just read and play board games. We enjoyed hiking at Crabtree Falls. It was a perfect Thanksgiving getaway.

Absolute wonderful little hide away. The cabin was clean from top to bottom. It had all the amenities you need for a comfortable get away with your significant other or a week long stay for a small family. The mornings were so nice and peaceful with the birds singing and the water rolling over the rocks in the creek. Definitely a great place to unwind and get back to nature. Highly recommended. I will definitely be booking for our anniversary trip next year and probably the years to come.

A lot of times you rent a place and when you get there it's not quite what you expected...but that is NOT the case here... Its even better in person..and the stream beside it is so relaxing. We hated to go out anywhere cause we just wanted to enjoy the peace and quiet. Thanks so much Alicia!
