Bienvenue à la maison Alexander Mckee! Un bel exemple de la première architecture canadienne construite en 1835. Jadis connue pour être la maison des maîtres d’école, elle a figuré dans de nombreux ouvrages de Niagara Books. Excellent emplacement dans l'une des meilleures rues pittoresques de la vieille ville historique de Niagara-On-The-Lake. Garez votre voiture et marchez vers tout. À quelques pas de la rue principale et de la vieille ville où vous trouverez des boutiques de luxe, des restaurants raffinés et le théâtre Shaw Festival. Queens Royal Park et le lac Ontario à un pâté de maisons. King Street Gallery, Fort George et le plus ancien parcours de golf en Amérique du Nord juste en bas de la rue. Vignobles de renommée internationale à quelques minutes seulement. Détendez-vous avec votre café du matin sur le porche et regardez les calèches passer. Il y a un plancher en pin d'origine dans les 2 chambres supérieures qui ont été récemment restaurées. Les chambres disposent d'une literie confortable, avec un lit queen et un lit double. Le niveau principal comprend un salon confortable et un canapé-lit, une salle à manger avec éclairage historique et une salle de bain avec douche. Cuisine entièrement équipée, buanderie, climatisation et WIFI gratuit. Il y a une belle cour arrière privée avec un patio en pierre et un barbecue, idéal pour les divertissements estivaux. This lovely heritage property will transport you back in time. It is impeccable and so nicely appointed with beautiful period furnishings. Waking up to the sound of bells chiming and the clip clop of the horses and they pulled the carriages past the house was the icing on cake of this serene place. Sindy, our host was an absolute pleasure to deal with. She was so welcoming and attentive.

This is a beautiful home full of character and charm. It is so close to the centre of town so really convenient for shops and restaurants and really quiet overnight. It had everything we needed. Our passion for restoring old houses, led us to move to this beautiful town, filled with history and historic homes. One of the attractions for us was the wonderful bicycle paths along the Niagara River and excellent tasting wineries. Niagara-On-The-Lake voted prettiest town in Ontario.

The Alexander Mckee House is one of the cutest old houses in the town, with modern amenities and old world charm.

This historic 1835 house is situated on the prettiest and most desirable streets in old town. The recently restored porch is a great spot for having an evening glass of wine and simply relaxing. Queen street is literally steps away, where you will find unique shops, fine dining, pubs, coffee shops and Shaw Festival theater. There are over 70 wineries to visit, with wine tasting bars . Whirlpool Jets boat ride is an easy walkable distance. Zoom Bicycle rentals, kayak and paddle rentals also available. Take a horse and buggy tour of our historic town. Niagara Falls is a short 20 minute drive away. There are several attractions and activities including Hornblower Niagara Cruise, Journey behind the falls, Butterfly Conservatory and Whirlpool Aero Car.
