GET BACK TO NATURE and experience the peaceful atmosphere with peek a boo view of Lake Talquin. Over 1/2 an acre with RV hookup in case you want to bring your friends along! House sleeps 5. Fully fenced yard so your pets and kids can play. Soak in the Hot Tub or experience the "Soul Mending" garden with lights, water feature and firepit. All the outdoor spaces allow you to enjoy evenings outside. Screened and open porch with charcoal grill. Very private. Public Boat ramp 3 minutes away. Pat Thomas Park 10 minutes away and you can fish off the dock, launch your boat or picnic at the open tables or pavillion!! Also one of the finest seafood restaurants in the area, Country Boys Restaurant, is just 1 minute away.

Adorable little cabin! Host showed up and spent a couple hours trying to figure out the TV’s, the day before Thanksgiving! Will definitely stay here again next visit to Florida.

Clean property in a very quiet place. The hot tub was a nice added value. We did not use it, but the RV hookup is a great addition.

Perfect getaway

Went on a little weekend trip to visit my sister and found this place online. Loved that I was able to bring my dog and he had a big yard to roam around! We had a great time and loved the place. We made s’mores by the fire pit and spent a night in the hot tub. Overall the stay was perfect for us.

Wonderful stay at the Cozy Bluegill Cottage

We took our two grandkids with us for a trip during spring break. So glad we decided to stay at the Cozy Bluegill Cottage. The cottage is located on a private lot. We especially loved the coffee bar, hot tub, and gorgeous fireplace. The grandkids loved the fairy garden and the complementary snack box. The host is very gracious.

Great yard!!

Loved the fenced in yard. House was nice, but a little small. Only negative thing was the sand/dirt. It was hard to keep the hot tub and house clean.

Great country getaway

I booked this place for my husband who wanted to do a self retreat. He loved the place and said he felt like he was able to relax here. Just across the street is the lake and he could hear the boats, which he liked being so close to. He said the property had everything he needed, was in good shape and clean, and there was ample room for our dog to run around in the sun. Our host was very kind and an excellent communicator. My husband said he would go back, and wants to try the country cooking restaurants nearby. Five stars!

Close to the BEST fishing Lake and Nature Trails in the area! Only minutes from the Public Boat Ramp! Lake Talquin is 8,850-acres in size and hosts Fishing Tournaments or just a peaceful ride around the Lake. Only 30 minutes from Tallahassee if you want to attend a FSU or FAMU Football Game, have a night of dinner and dancing, visit the Museum of Florida History or, in March, the Museum Of History & Natural Science explodes with the sounds of the Jazz and Blues Festival!! Springtime Tallahassee is also a beautiful time of year with all the flowers in bloom and parade! Antique shopping in Havana can make for a fun day as well!!1 There is something for everyone in our area!
