Very nicely adorned and comfortable property. The common area is great for family time. Dock and boathouse were a surprisingly added bonus to the experience.

Beautiful lake view, amazing sunsets, well appointed kitchen with all the cookware and utensils we needed. We were 2 families staying in the house and there was plenty of room for all of us. House is as pretty and comfortable as it looks!! There are already requests for ‘when can we go back?’Host was very responsive to questions. Thank you for a relaxing stay!!

Best Little Big Cabin

This place far, far exceeded my expectations. This place was super roomy with all the comfort of home plus. The setting was magnificent and I couldn’t believe that the little dock house had a foldout twin bed, fridge, ac, and heat-the perfect place for that teen in the group that seeks their separate space! While we were in the area for a sad occasion, this place more than helped us feel comfy away from home. The owner was super responsive and as we found out how sensitive the smoke alarms were while cooking bacon in the oven, she was quick to give a call and let us know that we should keep the vent over the stove going while cooking. Nice to know they work and would keep us safe! The open concept was great for entertaining guests. Loved the place and highly recommend it.

Amazing Lake Home on Lake Talquin!

Sunset Memories Lake House is AMAZING! You couldn't ask for a better place to stay on Lake Talquin in Tallahassee, Florida! I LOVED EVERYTHING about this place!! It is newly renovated, and the floor plan is absolutely perfect! The dock house is so adorable, and now a must for me!! It has an air conditioner and electric fireplace, to keep the perfect temperature! If you get tired of fishing, just go and relax in the dock house to enjoy the most beautiful sunsets every evening! The host was so gracious, and made sure our stay was unforgettable! She was so kind, and helpful with all of our needs, and requests! Also, this home is the ONLY handicapped accessible place that I found on Lake Talquin! There is a large paved parking area right up to the front door, and a paved path to the dock! It has plenty of things to do, like a pool table, darts, and games provided, which we really enjoyed every night! The location of this home was ideal, peaceful, and only a few homes away from a public boat ramp. I absolutely LOVED the large shower in the bathroom, and beautiful fireplace! I will be booking this rental again! Faith, thank you for allowing us to stay at this wonderful lake home!

Relaxing lake retreat

This place is fantastic! The exceptionally open floor plan with floor to ceiling lake views is amazing! The dock hosts a tiny lake cabin which provided another room for our family to use which was very helpful with five kids. We loved playing pool and the extra large porch swing was my favorite spot. I highly recommend staying here. You won’t be disappointed.
