Welcome to the Sea Salt Cottage @ Mainsail. This 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom beautifully renovated, private home is just steps to the sugar-sand beaches of Destin! The gated community boasts private beach access, two pools (one being heated), a hot tub, splash zone, multiple grill areas, and fitness center. Walkable to grocery stores, coffee shops, restaurants, and the Silver Sands Outlet, this convenient location is sure to be the best launch pad for activities for everyone in your group! On the main floor, you'll find two spacious bedrooms each with a queen bed and sharing a full bathroom. You'll also enjoy an updated kitchen that opens to the comfortable living room with plenty of seating for the entire group. The dining area that comfortably seats six, and the laundry area are also located on the main floor. Upstairs is the massive primary bedroom with a king bed and a daybed with trundle. The primary bedroom hosts an office and wine/coffee bar area, as well as, its own private balcony overseeing the lush gardens below. Additionally, a small room upstairs has a second daybed and trundle. This cozy spot is great for kids after a long day in the sun. A custom designed kitchen, designer furniture and fixtures were carefully curated to make your vacation a delightful experience! If you love technology, there are smart Samsung Frame TV's and battery-charging lamps in every room. Please note that in addition to the information collected by the booking platform, our community requires a few additional items to be completed prior to arrival. Guests will be asked to review and sign a Short-Term Rental Agreement, complete a Guest Arrival Form for our Courtesy Patrol (gate security), and provide a copy of the primary guest’s driver’s license. These requirements are set by the Mainsail Association and help ensure a smooth, compliant, and enjoyable stay for all guests.

The beach was close by the house is an open lay out very nice the bay window where the table is was very nice also. We loved our stay thank you Katie for always answering back quickly.

Senior trip with Mom

Beautiful house! Very spacious, a/c worked amazing, short walk to beach, loved the secure neighborhood, the framed tv was a definite perk, plenty of toiletries, beautiful furnishings, pool is close, literally couldn’t say enough great things about this property!

Host was very welcoming and great at messaging back. House/cottage is in great location 5-7 min walk down to the beach. heated community pool a few houses down in the center of all the cottages. Great location for Miramar/Destin attractions. 5 min drives to restaurants, grocery and malls. Directly across the street from the outlets. 15 mins to the boardwalk. We lucked out on weather the first couple days and enjoyed the beach with mid 70 degree weather for a few days Christmas week; it was amazing. On the chillier days we went to the track arcade and gator house which was perfect for our 4 and 6 year olds. A lot was open down at the boardwalk and during the holiday week which we didn’t expect. House sleeps 6-7 adults comfortably. We had toddlers so sleeping with them in a full/queen was tight but we made it work. Was counting on the trundle den space to sleep an adult and 6 year old but couldn’t make use of it; too small and low ceiling height, no windows, the size of a walk in closet. maybe just an older child would do better in it or just don’t use it. The dining table was spacious and the living room was comfortable. All in all a great memorable stay with my whole family, and would def recommend!

This property was awesome and in a great location. Only downside was the 4th bedroom, it’s extremely small and has no ac vents in it. Overall we loved the house and can’t wait to come back.

Amazing

The house is very cute and spacious. We had 8 adults and were very comfortable. The walk to the beach isn’t very far but can be tiresome after a day after the beach. We loved having access to the pickleball courts and gym. This spot is close to so many restaurants, shopping and entertainment. We had a great stay and will definitely be back, thank you so much !!

Best Beach Trip Ever!

If I could leave a 10 star review I would! The host was very easy to communicate with and check in was a breeze! Once we got to the house, it was so clean and all the pictures accurately represented the property! The house was clean, beds were very comfortable, and the layout was perfect to accommodate our group. It was a quick walk to the beach, Chic Fil A, and CVS. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for the perfect place close to the beach!

Making Memories with my Family!!

When we arrived the Sea Salt Cottage @ Mainsail was beautiful and clean with towels on all our beds!! We were close to the pools and beach!! We were able to drop our stuff off at the beach and walk to the beach. We had fun relaxing on the beach and playing volleyball!! The house had all the accommodations that we have at home!! We loved the TVs that looked like beautiful art on the wall with the frames around them!! Shannon was so sweet about answering all of our questions and telling us about the places to get groceries, shop, and go out to eat!! Thank you for making our time special at Sea Salt Cottage!! We will be returning to stay here again soon!!

Great Host and beautiful home

This was our annual family trip with our adult children and their spouses. We had a great time staying at this home. The home was nicely furnished with everything we needed. The host was wonderful to work with, very prompt with every inquiry. The A/C unit went out in the middle of the night about half way through our vacation and the host made sure it was fixed the very next day, while we were out at the beach and scubba diving. These things happen, especially with the increased heat we experienced that week, so I don't fault anyone for the issue, but am extremely pleased with the rapid response to rectify the problem There were only two downsides from our perspective, the carport needed to be about a foot or two wider to match the house. This house sleeps 10, so there has to be an expectation of more than one vehicle wanting to park in the shade. Also, the plants were too close to the driveway to easily park two vehicles side-by-side without them hitting up against the vehicles. While this house was really nice on the inside, it was the furthest house from the beach and resort amenities requiring a fair amount of walking. The walking was not an issue unless you wanted to transport all your beach equipment. Oh yea, beach wagons do not work on that sand, it creates a lot more work. Other than those two minor inconveniences, it was still an enjoyable time and great host experience.

We loved this home! Great access to the beach, close to the pool, close to shopping and places to eat… it was perfect for our family, from the 7 yr old twins to my 70 yr old parents. The host was great to communicate with and everything was completely seamless. The only problem was we had to leave!
