COTTAGE LE PLUS PROCHE EN GRAND VOILE À LA PLAGE !!

Belle maison de campagne entièrement rénovée, quatre chambres, unifamiliale, au coeur de Destin. Un joli décor de plage plaira à tous! Cette grande maison comprend quatre chambres, deux salles de bains et quart, et bien plus encore! Peut accueillir jusqu'à douze personnes. Cuisine entièrement équipée, buanderie dans le chalet et coin repas séparé.


Cette communauté fermée de grand-voile offre une côte privée du golfe, une plage de sable blanc ... sur la côte d'émeraude. Marchez jusqu'à la plage - moins de 100 mètres sans routes à traverser. Inclus sont deux piscines (une chauffée) avec co-
piscines pour enfants situées. Service de plage pour deux (parasol et deux chaises) fourni quotidiennement sans frais supplémentaires. Idéalement situé avec accès aux commerces, restaurants et divertissements à distance de marche. Calme pendant les mois d'hiver pour une escapade paisible!

INFORMATIONS SUPPLÉMENTAIRES SUR LA LOCATION:
* Dépôt et paiement: 150 $ de frais de nettoyage seront retenus sur le dépôt après le départ. Dépôt de 500 $ pour bloquer l'heure souhaitée, le paiement intégral dû 60 jours avant l'enregistrement ou le locataire perd le dépôt et le temps sera débloqué. Le dépôt de garantie sera restitué après le départ, à moins qu'aucun dommage à la propriété ne se soit produit. Les annulations entraîneront la confiscation de l'acompte en cas d'impossibilité de relouer les dates bloquées. Condo was as advertised. Short walk to beach. Very nice place and would book again. Master bedroom mattress downstairs not very comfortable, could benefit from a new one. Overall great place.

Spring Break

We had a wonderful time here. The property was beautiful and the pool wasn’t overcrowded. The beach access was a very short walk and the beach service for chairs was great. Whitest, cleanest, softest sand we’ve ever seen. The house was perfect for us and had all the amenities as described. The owner was extremely responsive and respectful. Would definitely come back hand stay here.

Awesome Location!

The Drake Cottage is super convenient to everything including the beach! However, it is away from the heavy congestion of downtown Destin. The cottage was a perfect fit for our family and the proximity to the beach was awesome.

Amazing Beach trip

The house was perfect for our family of 9. Beds were comfy, location was perfect, house was cozy. The only thing I would suggest is be ready to purchase toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent, spices, trash bags, shampoo and soap. However, we would definitely return again!

Hidden Gem

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cottage. The location within the complex is ideal -- centrally located between two pools, sets of grills, and a close walk to the beach. The cottage had plenty of room for all of our adults, with comfortable beds and all of the amenities of home. We enjoyed evenings on the large back patio -- so peaceful and comfortable. We would definitely reserve this cottage again when visiting Miramar Beach.

Pleasant stay.

Pleasant stay for our family with two little grandchildren. Close to the beach and walking distance to shopping center and grocery store. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and cooking pots. The actual price is higher than what is advertised as it also includes other fees such as cleaning, service and tax.

Couldn’t Ask for Better

Our family vacation went off without a hitch! The cottage was very spacious! We had plenty of room to spread out with our families. The beach was a very easy walk across the parking lot and didn’t have to worry about climbing/descending stairs at all, my parents greatly appreciated this! Location was perfect, close to all things food and shopping! And we couldn’t have asked for a better host! He was available within a very short amount of time to answer any questions we had! Thank you again for sharing your home with us! We hope to book again next year!

Disappointed

This was a last minute rescheduling due to hurricane Sally, but based on the reviews on VRBO I had higher expectations. The location was not terrible, a short walk to the beach. We did have a complimentary beach chair and umbrella set up and the young man taking care of that was extremely kind and helpful. But the main complaints that both I, and my entire party, had were, #1 The thermostat is locked and will not cool below 72 degrees. It is warm and humid even in September and we were all hot throughout the night. My husband and I even ended up at Ace hardware purchasing electric fans for the upstairs bedrooms because no one could sleep with the temperature upstairs. #2 is the old, worn out, uncomfortable mattresses in all of the bedrooms. I was so embarrassed, because I was the one who had booked this property. But every single bed needs to be replaced. #3 The people that work in the security gate were very rude. They tried to tell us we couldn't have 4 vehicles for our rental, after the owner had already said that we could. #4 The stove heats up the entire downstairs area while cooking and the refrigerator doors don't close well. #5 Our group decided to go to the smaller pool to take our 2 yr grandson to swim. There had not been a single person at this pool for 2 days, but within 10 minutes of our family getting into the pool, 2 HOA members show up and watch our every move for about 30 minutes. One makes a phone call and then they both get up and leave the pool area. So I guess that we passed their inspection. One more thing, I noticed another review had said how incredibly clean the floors were, but that was not what we experienced. I honestly hate to leave bad reviews, but I DO read reviews and base my decision to rent a property based on other renters experiences. I am still wondering how the previous reviews were so extremely opposite of what we experienced. We all have different opinions, but I can honestly say that I would never stay here again.

Wow.. in 17 years we have never experienced such a guest... complaints before even arriving! I have never cancelled a reservation, but should have for this one!! The mattresses have all been replaced, the kitchen has had a complete makeover, including all new stainless steel appliances. Now even sure what to say about someone looking at them at the pool? Clearly this guest cannot be pleased. Please view our other reviews that speak the truth!!

Location is key and this property hits the target. Short walk to the beach and shops needed such as Winn Dixie are right down the road. Chris was always quick to respond to any questions or concerns. Nothing negative to say about The Drake!

Great location and home

Very nice home with many updates. The master bathroom was very large and nice. The house was very close to beach as well as many places to shop. We Loved their was an Alvin’s Beach store and Dollar store within a 5 min walk, outlets were across the road. Also the kids loved how close Chick-fil-A was. When we go back to this area I would stay here again. The only problem was it was so beautiful we all got way to much sun.

Nice place, good value. Property owner was very responsive and flexible when we had a travel issue. We enjoyed that the complex had multiple pools, and we could walk to the beach without crossing a street.

Amazing!!

This house was perfect for our family! Lots of room for everyone. We were a party of 12. 6 adults, 2 teens and 4 kids. The kitchen is hands down the best stocked I’ve seen for a rental with everything you could need and more for meal preparation. Comfortable beds (soft but supportive) which is a big deal to us. Lovely furnishings and lots of towels for the house and beach. Wonderful location!!! The best lot on the resort. Private and quiet! Just under a 2 minute walk to the beach. Loved the perks of the lounge chairs and Umbrellas for sitting on the beach. There’s a good restaurant and bar just .6 miles west on the beach. Communication with Chris great and always was prompt when I had a question or concern. We all definitely felt at home and enjoyed our stay. Will be back!!

Enjoyable place to vacation

Finding a place to accommodate 12 family members ranging in age from 3 to 71 is not always an easy task with a limited budget. No place will ever be perfect, but we had very few complaints. One mattress was much harder than one couple was used to at home. The upstairs bedrooms, particularly the one that receives direct sunlight from the balcony, would be more comfortable if they could be cooler at night. This property was clean and as advertised with all equipment in good working order. Overall, we were very pleased and plan to return next summer.
