River front on beautiful unspoiled central Florida river. Nestled between Orlando and Tampa, it’s a short drive to all major theme parks, beaches and attractions. Peaceful and quiet on heavily wooded property. Enjoy the unspoiled beauty of Florida by kayak, bike or hiking while being close to the attractions - it’s the best of both worlds! Kayaks and bikes provided.

Enjoy a cool drink under the shade on the river bank. Or hang out and grill on the deck in comfy chairs surrounding the fire pit. Spend a day at Disney, Universal, Busch Gardens, Silver Springs or many of the other famous Florida theme parks which are just a short drive away. Clearwater Beach, Hernando Beach and Crystal River also just a short drive away. Hiking and Biking trails all within a few miles.

Secluded and quiet. Exactly what I was hoping for. The RV was clean, comfortable, and well stocked. The riverside sitting area was the perfect spot to unwind. I even spotted otters, deer, and lots of cardinals during my stay. The host was quick to respond and incredibly helpful. Everything went smoothly from start to finish. I also rented an ATV at Croom. I’ll definitely be back.

Mark's place is quiet, clean, and beautiful! Bring your clothes and food, everything you need is there. Get in that kayak, what a beautiful river!

The property has nice views and held my family. Given this property is in Florida AC is pretty crucial. I messaged the host about the AC not working properly and though he did respond he did not do anything to come fix it. My family spent time away from the property but the time we were there the temps got as high as 95inside the camper. The AC vents also dripped all over the place. We had to lay down towels so we did not slip and fall on the water. Another thing was the main door on the camper did not lock. I messaged the host and he told me how to lock it. I told him I still could not get it and asked if there was a trick to get it to lock and he said no. So my family spent our whole time there not being able to lock up the camper for our safety. Not once did the host offer to come look at either of these problems even after he was informed of them. Other than these 2 problem the camper wasn’t a bad place to say. It would have been much more enjoyable if we had nice cool AC and were able to lock the door for our safety.

Nice property but high steps were a challenge at times, bank and steps are high to river, and into trailer. Property was clean and comfortable. Plentyof supplies and that was appreciated. Would recommend. The area was great and location of restaurants.

Great stay

The stay was fantastic, the property was very comfy, and peaceful. Mark was very responsive when I messaged him or called him. Fishing in the river was decent. Would highly recommend staying here if your in the area..

Safe place

The facility was safe and clean with little amount of bugs. The place was well kept and has air conditioning. There was an outdoor nook near the river and was dreamy for morning coffee. The vibe was peaceful, and a sense of tranquility. I would definitely recommend.

A private peaceful stay.

Absolutely loved this hidden gem! The camper was cozy, clean, and perfectly tucked away by the river—exactly what we needed for a peaceful escape. The sounds of the water and the surrounding nature made it feel like a private retreat. Morning coffee by the river and stargazing at night were highlights. Highly recommend for anyone needing to unplug and recharge.

Serenity and calm

The property was exactly as expected. A nice little quiet place in the middle of nowhere. We thoroughly enjoyed the peace and calm. The river is a great place to kyak and swim. There are really no neighbors to speak of and no people. Very peaceful.

Riverfront oasis

Great River Camp!

We had an amazing long weekend. We came with our adult children and look forward to coming back in the summer with the younger kids. RV was super clean, plenty of room. Fire pit and deck are a favorite!! 2 kayaks in the river, we didn’t have time to properly explore the river - next time! Super close to Croom Motor Area, Winn Dixie 5 minutes away, Walmart 20 minutes away. Rented quads from Moore’s at Croom - fantastic time!

Beautiful with great amenities

Stayed here for a three day weekend of disc golfing and hiking, but was pleasantly surprised to find how much we enjoyed the property itself! It appears to be new or brand-new, and felt cozy while still having room to spread out. The amenities were unexpectedly extensive for a VRBO, and we ended up not even going anywhere for a half-day, using the included kayaks to explore up and down the river. Great experience overall, would definitely stay again.
