Maison familiale chaleureuse en bord de rivière. Cadre parfait pour toutes occasions !

Experience the river life of Camanche with this completely remodeled 100 year old two story home on the Mississippi. Small house that feels large with lots of seating areas to relax and read a book or take a cat nap. This house has panoramic views up and down the river with a completely new kitchen and new bathrooms. Enjoy the sunrise over the river with all new windows across the backside of the house. Bring your boat as the public boat dock is adjacent to the property or just enjoy watching the boat traffic go by and waving to the friendly boaters. The house is in a perfect location on 1st Street near small parks and the public library and dock. There is a large front porch on the street side where you can sit and watch the many walkers and runners using the bike path.
On the river side of the house there is an open back yard with a picnic table and a small fire pit for fires. The house is also within walking distance to a nearby pub with coffee shops and convenience stores seven short blocks away. This is a house for all seasons! Great for families or group gatherings.

This is an awesome river home, it is very clean and has a beautiful view of the Mississippi River. The hosts make the whole check-in and out process very easy with great communication. We will definitely book again.

The communication was great with the owners. I actually received a message from them with all the needed information for our stay a couple of days before. We have never received this kind of communication. Wonderful home! Great to sit on the back patio and watch the barges. Would stay here again. Highly recommend!

What a charming place on the Mississippi River. We were welcomed with some flowers and a nice sign with our name. Extremely clean and simple, not cluttered . Everything was so nice. Exactly what we wanted. Beautiful view of the river! Everything we needed. Stocked well with all the essentials. A little surprise if you are a boater, boat ramp right next door. How convenient. Lovely place definitely will stay here again!

We would definitely stay again. The house is comfortable, and the view of the river is so pretty and peaceful. The covered side porch and back yard patio provide great spaces to sit and enjoy relaxing outside. Karlee responded very quickly if I had any questions. It was a vacation experience staying at the RiverHouse!

The house was beautiful and the views were the best. We also rented the house right down the street so all our out of town and out of state families coming in town for our father’s funeral could be all together and it worked out perfectly.

This is a charming property, impeccably designed and equipped, with a beautiful unobstructed view of the Mississippi river. It’s in a quiet neighborhood, which was completely peaceful the entire time we were there. The owners took such care to make sure the house was designed in a functional and elegant way. The other thing I want to point out is that when we arrived, the property was absolutely spotless. The cleaner did an excellent job. We come to Clinton every year for a family reunion and have always lowered our expectations for rental properties. This property blows everything else we’ve ever seen out of the water. We could not have been happier! Last, the bags were very comfortable, and although we did not cook while we were there, the house is stocked with anything you might need to prepare meals.

This is the second year staying at the River House for graduation weekends. The house was a perfect spot for family and friends to gather when not at other functions. The kitchen is easy to work in and great for serving meals rather than going out. It is on the banks of the Mississippi River and has great views. Some of our party went fishing. There's a nice fire ring that we used for relaxing and s'mores. We highly recommend it.

We felt welcomed as soon as we stepped inside. The home is clean and inviting. The river view is quite the draw. It was our 2nd time staying at this home and felt very much at home. Out host was responsive to any questions we had and was very kind. A wonderful place to stay and relax.

This home is really lovely and the views of the river are beautiful. The hosts were quick to respond when setting up our dates and time of arrival. We would highly recommend this property for a nice vacation spot!

Beautiful home, beautiful view, lovely time. Karlee and Gary are great communicators and hosts. We, a group of 4 friends, appreciated their thoughtful touches and intentional care in setting up the property. The winter view is amazing, great for bird (esp. eagle) watching. Cosy and clean! Amazing Family Getaway!!

We had a wonderful time at this charming home on the Mississippi in Camanche! The home was just perfect for my family to catch up and spend together. We spent lots of time watching the wildlife that calls the Mississippi River home and the neighborhood was very quiet and a safe area to stroll in the evenings. We will be back!
