Welcome to Whisper in the Woods!

Enjoy this large cottage tucked away in the Tuckahoe woods. With 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, this is the perfect getaway home for families or friends looking to spend time with nature, and be within a 10 minute drive to shopping, the best beaches, and the Southampton scene. The backyard is an outdoor paradise, with large seating areas on a sprawling deck, a fantastic Olympic-sized pool, brand new outdoor grill, a hot tub (or cold plunge!), an outdoor shower, lots of space to throw around a frisbee or baseball, and a firepit surrounded by magical solar lights. The house is recently fully renovated, with all of the amenities you need to enjoy your stay. With stunning hiking trails just a stone's throw from the house, you can truly experience the Hamptons lifestyle however you choose-- be it a woodsy retreat in nature, or a bougie trip to one of the most exciting towns in the Hamptons.

The shed is fully equipped with everything to help make your stay extraordinary: beach chairs, inflatable pool floats and toys, a pool volleyball set, a Bose Bluetooth stereo system, wiffleball, basketball, frisbee and Blitzball.

Enjoy a reading selection from our fully stocked library, or play a Board game in our fully-stocked games closet!

The house is great for golfers (close to two of the top golf courses in the world!), business / team / writer retreats as well! We are longtime entrepreneurs, authors and members of EO and YPO and know what makes a great retreat location! (And we're committed to being responsive hosts!)

This is our dream vacation home and we are excited to share it with you. We are happy to provide recommendations for restaurants, activities, and private chefs, as well as order groceries for you for your arrival, or provide you with anything you need to make your stay enchanting.

Amazing stay and great value for the price! The photos do not do it justice. Stayed here with 10 girls fit a girls trip and everything was superb. Dave was amazing and quick to respond with any questions as well.

We were in for a family wedding and the property was just perfect - easy to get to, private, had a great pool, grill, outdoor space, and lovely indoor spaces that allowed folks to visit on two different levels. It was perfect for reconnecting with family from all over the US. Dave was very responsive to any questions we had.

A perfect house for our family getaway quiet, private and nestled in the woods while being minutes away from the town with shopping, restaurants etc. House was clean, well stocked and offers everything you would want/need. Host was beyond accommodating and communications regarding questions and requests were super fast and easy.

My friends and I stayed at Dave's for 4 nights over the 4th of July weekend and had the best time! The space was even better than advertised. The pool looked like a resort with enough chairs for all 8 of us and floats and there was an outdoor fridge to hold our beers. Dave was very communicative even when the power went out in the middle of the night and even offered to pay for our spoiled food. The house was very private and a great location close enough to get into town easily. The beds were comfortable and the water pressure/temp was perfect. Will definitely be booking with Dave again!

Dave was one of the best rental hosts I’ve ever experienced. His communication and kindness was top of the matter. We were able to check in early on Thursday ahead of my sisters arrival (the bride) to get decorations together and prep the house. The pool was even more amazing in photos and we brought floats but there was plenty already there to use. Garbage pick up is on Fridays so we arrived to some full garbage cans outside the house but Dave communicated that and it was no issue. The beds were comfy, plenty of bathrooms and showers for our group of 11. The house was low on paper towels so Dave had some delivered and sent us snacks and goodies as well. The house is close to Main Street and Ubers were super accessible. I would happily come back to this house.

Perfect fall getaway!

Had the best girls weekend with old college roommates! The house is stunning and incredibly clean. Was well stocked with everything we needed for our stay. Great location as well for checking out downtown, the beach, wineries, etc.
