Kind host, Cute place

We were just in town short-term and this place was perfect for us. Close to lots of great stuff in St Pete and very easy check in process after a late night flight.

Cute and clean

We were allowed an early check in which really helped us to prepare for the evening. All communication was timely and accurate. The apartment is very clean and quaint. We would definitely stay again if in the area. A short drive to downtown.

Host communication and instructions were great throughout. I fell bad but as an international solo traveler I think I need to be honest 
 Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend the apartment location for solo female travelers, the entrance is through an alley and at night it doesn’t feel safe because it is too dark and you need to get out of the car to take out a gate security chain with a lock. There’s also 3 dogs barking next door, I didn’t like it first but after the first night I thought it was convenient at night, even when they wake you up. The apartment is cozy and well equipped but it wasn’t very clean, some places were dusty and there were areas with dead bugs. The host is very responsive & nice I’m sure she will easily handle the cleaning part and regarding the location I understand is something that she cannot control and for couples of friends and for the amenities & price is worth it.

The neighborhood area is scary. Very unsafe. The place is tiny and reeked of toxic oil diffuser fake fragrance. Bugs everywhere !!! Rusty old chain link gate falling off- with a big metal lock you have to open and lock anytime you try and go anywhere. Really unpleasant and gross I had to call VRBO to get a refund and they made ME talk with the owner!!!! She finally relented to giving me 50% back. Horrible place.

Get what you pay for

I was on the fence to use this open forum to make recommedations but had I known in advance I may have paid more somewhere else.1. Having go down a dirt alley to access unit was kinda scketchy esp the first day at night. There is a guy who uses the alley as his own auto repair business and he blocks acces from one end.2. Having to unlock a chain link fence and close behind you made it feel like i was in jail.3. The hot water in the shower took a long time to heat ( I assume comiing from main house) It was hot barely enough to complete wash before it got cold.4. There is no dead bolt on door i felt like someone may come in when i was in other room.5. There was no desk/table to work from I had to buy a cheap laptop table and chair to work.6. There is no tv where couch is I had to use one of the outdoor adirondack chairs in combination of pillows from couch. look into moving couch into bedroom where tv is and minisplit are located.

Stayed here for a music festival and it was perfect for 2 people. Very clean and very cozy. We had no hot water the first day, but communication with our host was great and got the problem resolved quickly! Would definitely recommend, and would stay again if I go back to st Pete!
