Host was welcoming and very helpful. The house was fantastic, comfortable and had everything we needed. Close to beach and restaurants and anything else you could possibly want. We felt very safe in the wonderful gated neighborhood. Will visit again. Perfect stay.

Great place to stay!

What a great house! Very clean, super well stocked with anything you could ask for, Property Manager met us upon arrival to give us a quick tour of the home and private pool, as well as offer suggestions for places to go and restaurants. We had an amazing stay! We will definitely choose this home again on our next trip to this beautiful island.

This property had all the needed amenities to make our stay just perfect! The location was fabulous with a beach close by, and close enough to the larger centers when desired. The property manager was attentive and very knowledgeable about the area. This VRBO was perfect for our needs!!!

Perfect

Everything was as good or better than we expected, and the location was perfect for restaurants and Dorado Beach. Driving to other places on the island was a pain due to the incredible traffic and crazy driving, but we were so happy with the place we stayed and the area around it. Lucy, the property manager was incredibly helpful.

Good location and was a nice house.

Location was safe and licated to just about everything you needed . House was very nice and clean. Pool was a big bonus. John was extremely nice along with manager. We were greeted bt manager who lives close by to help with any questions or dinning ideas. Overall it was a great place to stay . Highly recommend.

Met all expectations plus perfect location

The house is just as lovely as in the pictures. Has everything you can possibly need during your stay. Property manager was very responsive and accommodating. Location is great for exploring different areas of the island. Beach was a quick 5 minutes walk away and had no people on it during the week- felt like we had a private beach access. I would definitely recommend this property for anyone going to visit PR and I would gladly stay there again if we would decide to return to PR.

Best BNB EVER!!!

Best experience we have ever had with an air bnb. We were always able to communicate with everyone super easy and they answered any and all questions. They had an abundance of extras for us to use in the pool and at the beach like chairs coolers and floaters too! This was such a beautiful house and they had absolutely everything we needed. Booked last minute too and had to leave early too and they were just extremely forgiving with everything. Definitely going to come back here every time we go to Puerto Rico! Thank you again John and Valerie for everything!!

Great place to relax

We had a wonderful time here. The beach was great for shelling and swimming. It was a bit windy and the visibility wasn't very good for snorkeling. The pool was great after a day out. It's a bit of a drive to get anywhere like El Yunque, San Juan, and snorkeling in the southern areas. Eating on the patio, listening to the birds, just relaxing. It was all great. The house has everything you need. Equipped kitchen, beach chairs, beach towels and pool toys. Lucy, the property manager is right down the street and full of information and so friendly. Thank you Lucy!

A nice 2 months in the sun.

I enjoyed the place because of a lot of space inside and outside in the back. Enjoyed the pool. The dishwasher was greatly missed. I never wash dishes in my home so do not expect to have to do it on holidays. What should be changed is about the noise. All fans (especially in the toilets) made a lot of noise.

Well equipped and a good value

The owner, John, is very responsive. I was there when hurricane Irma was at PR's doorstep. I was supposed to be there for a total of 3 weeks. I was there 10 days before I evacuated. John refunded the balance of the payment made. The ONLY negative for this property is the AC is loud.

Enjoyed everything about it

The house was everything and more of what we had hoped for. We stayed a total of 13 nights and wished we could have stayed longer. The property was everything the listing said it was, there were no surprises. The location to the beach and to the places we wanted to visit while in Puerto Rico was great. The area was secure and we felt safe throughout our whole stay. There were lots of beach towels that we could use and it was great having a washer and dryer in the house. The dryer stopped working our second week there, but a call to Valerie had a technician out to fix it the following day. I would highly recommend this property and am planning on returning soon.

Oasis

Bring your bathing suit, toothbrush and a one change of clothes. That is all that is needed to enjoy John's spacious accommodations in Dorado del Mar. Everything else is provided. The pool is delightful and quite private. Even though Puerto Rico is still working on the horrific hurricane damage, most everything in Dorado is functioning fine. It will be nice when all the traffic lights are working again, but most drivers are courteous getting through the intersections. We had a great time and hope to return. Thanks, John

The pool was the highlight

The house was okay, very accurate to the pictures but, it could used a little deep cleaning. Specially the ceiling fan and the kitchen window frame. The pool was very nice my daughter loved it, I couldn’t get her out of the pool. Beach was a short walk. Restaurant and supermarket were closed by no need to drive far to buy anything. The only thing that was a little upsetting was the fact that the traffic could get a little insane coming in and out of town specially during school days. But nothing can be done about that. Overall I would book this house again.

Home away from home!

Working with John and his property manager Valerie was a dream! From initial request up until check out, everything was handled professionally and with quick response. The home itself is very comfortable and clean, with everything you could need for your vacation. The private pool was used daily and for good reason, with the palm tress, sitting area with control fan and bbq, there was little reason to venture out! We traveled with our 8 year old daughter and 2 small boys and john went above and beyond to ensure they would be safe, even providing us with life vests and pool toys for the kids to use. The pool was equipped with color changing lights that made night swimming enjoyable. The AC in the home is very good, and kept the house cold and comfortable. Having the washing machine and dryer there was a dream, especially with two families! The beach was beautiful and calm enough for the children to enjoy and provided us with beautiful sunsets. This will be our go-to home for our future PR visits for sure!

MN checks out Puerto Rico

The house is in a gated neighborhood and quiet. The house had plenty of space indoor and outside for 4 senior adults. Dorado was a perfect spot for us to explore from. Property Manager was very pleasant and a joy to work with. The house matches the description given.San Juan is very very busy and limited parking. The best way to take in that part of PR is to take an inexpensive Ferry (50 cents each way) out of Catano! Plenty of parking and Ferry runs about every 30 minutes. Drops you off in San Juan - you can explore by foot but is a hike to El Morro - Suggest you take a cab or uber to El Morro and explore there and walk down or call the cab and they will come back and get you. From the house we also went to the Rain Forest and Fajardo area one day to explore that side of SJ. Another day we went from Dorado to Arecibo Light House and explored beaches and the beauty of the island. And we spent a couple of days exploring Dorado and the beaches in your back yard. Local restaurants were all great in every town we were in. Suggest to take your road trips along the coast and off the highway... So much more beauty can be seen. Everyone we met were so pleasant and helpful - we need more of that in our world!

Tropical Paradise

We absolutely loved this home! It has been updated and is very clean and well maintained. Although it is not pictured, the kitchen was recently renovated and is quite attractive. Not a chef's kitchen but more than adequate for a vacation home, especially since there is a backyard grill and plenty of restaurants nearby. The bedrooms are comfortable and, owing to the concrete construction typical to Puerto Rican homes, very quiet and private. The air conditioning kept the entire home cool. The common area is open, well furnished and quite large - actually larger than we needed as we spent a lot of time outdoors. The backyard is a slice of paradise. It is lushly landscaped with many taller palm trees, a banyan tree, a hibiscus hedge and assorted tropical plants. The pool and gazebo are every bit as inviting as the photo suggests. It was great to have breakfast out there and sit out in the evening, listening to the coquis. If I lived in the tropics, I would want a backyard just like this. The community is gated and security vehicles are constantly patrolling. Very safe and quiet. The community beach is beautiful and the nearby public beach is very lively with several beachfront restaurant/bars. We were so glad we chose to stay here. Much better than staying at a hotel. We will definitely return.

Great house and location

Just a few things you should know. Lucy is an excellent host. She made us feel welcomed like family. The microwave is not working the coffee maker is leaking water from behind and also not working. The toilet in the master bathroom is leaking when you flush it. When I arrived the pool was dirty, waiting no one came, I cleaned it and they showed up the Friday before I left to clean it.
