This Single Story home has a fully enclosed back yard. All amenities and beach gear are provided.
Located right on Netune ave your a 10 min Walk either north or south to two beach access points.

This funky beach neighborhood is one of the last places on the coast to still have the charm of a small town surf city. Family oriented, peaceful and quiet, unique, charming are all words that come to mind when I think of my home. Also right down the street is an amazing farmers market on Sundays where you will be able to truly immerse yourself in the culture of your temporary home:) Come enjoy what Encinitas/ Leucadia has to offer:)

Beachside Hideaway 3 Blocks from Beach

Great location-close to beach and a block from Coast Highway for restaurants and coffee. Lots of natural light and space including small yard for pet overlooking jog-friendly street.

Loved staying in this beach hideaway

We had a great time staying at this property. I chose it mainly because it was all on one level, my husband has artificial legs. The beds were comfortable and it was great to have two full bathrooms. We enjoyed walking the neighborhood, we especially liked the donut shope and the organic fruit stand. The only draw back for us was the parking, we had a minivan rental which scraped getting in and out of the very steep driveway. There is street parking also so we did utilize this. The only other mention is for you to know that to get to the beach it is quite a hike down. We ended up driving down to moonlight beach for better accessability for my husband.

The house was terrific, lots of light, spotless, plenty of room. I chose this place to take my adult son, who uses a wheelchair, as the description stated that it was handicapped accessible. However, the driveway had an extremely steep grade, which was very dangerous, the neighbor parked his car adjacent to the only entrance to the house, and we had to take my son's electric wheelchair over rocks. The communication with the property management was also the worst I've experienced in my dozens of VRBO rentals. We didn't have any check-in information until 30 minutes before we were supposed to occupy the house, so it was very stressful having our car loaded up with a wheelchair and all of the necessities and not being sure if we would be going. We only got two screenshots of the code and the Wi-Fi password—no other instructions. The agent supposedly didn't receive my payment, and I had to wait twice for him to call me back to provide my credit card information. (The invoice was sent to me three days before occupancy.) Needless to say, this was not a stress-free vacation. Although I'll continue to use VRBO, I will make sure that I don't interact with this management company again. I'm used to a seamless experience with VRBO.
