Gorgeous home quietly tucked away in the woods!Comfy beds with great pillows, hot shower with great water pressure and fresh coffee- all my daughter and I could ask for during our stay. Highly recommend.

This was my favorite rental. It was adorable and wonderfully decorated. I wish we had stayed longer to take advantage of the fire pit. We will definitely return here again.

Enjoyed our stay and found the place relaxing. Thank you for letting us bring our dogs The only issue we had was the lack of outdoor lighting at night. Just a suggestion the toilet was a little low for an older person! We left trash in the sink because we never could figure out the bear proof trash can. (Sorry)

We had a great time here! The location is great and the fireplace made the stay even more magical! The cottage is only about 15 minutes from the town of saugerties, where they have great coffee and shops!

We loved our stay at the Hidden Cottage. It was easy to find, clean and comfortable. Seriously, it’s always a crapshoot when you rent a house but the beds were really nice and all amenities were provided. Thanks!

Great long weekend away from the daily grind. Wonderful house in a quiet and secluded setting. Perfect location between hiking and shopping!

Woodstock retreat

My family and I came up with our dogs to recharge and reconnect. The vrbo was only a short distance from fantastic hikes and was extremely family friendly. The pictures do not do it justice- the place was much nicer, newer, and cleaner than I had been anticipating. We were all impressed. I would absolutely stay there again.

Wonderful Wooded Escape!

I rented this property for a friends weekend and it was wonderful! Everything was as described and even more cozy and magical in person. The property manager was proactive and responsive with communication, which made the stay worry-free. We felt at home with the amenities and very reasonable rules/requirements. We're hoping to return soon!

Great home, great quiet location

We loved our 11 days at the cottage. It was well appointed and a great space, with a good kitchen and great open living space. We didn’t use the outdoor space (mainly because it was a hot week), but the yard was lovely and it was great to wake up one more to find two deer chilling in the yard. All in all, a wonderful place equidistant from Saugerties and Woodstock.

New Year Kick-off

This property is absolutely amazing. If you are a creative this space will sing to you! The property manager, Robyn is a gem, very responsive and friendly. The property is located close to town and a short drive to Woodstock. The surrounding are beautiful and peaceful. Highly recommend.

Looks cute outside and inside, but not ready for summer guests. First, there is NO AC, unless you count the single, small, struggling unit in the middle bedroom. There was one floor fan and one table fan when we arrived on a 90 degree day. High temps were at 90 or so for two more days, and humidity was high too. Many of the windows, including the big slider in the main bedroom, did not have screens on them, so we couldn't open them at night for cooling. The property manager brought additional fans for our use, which helped.The bedding had not been laundered from the previous guest and beds were not made. We had to do laundry and make beds when we arrived on Monday evening. Some towels seemed clean, and were stacked on the dining table. Toilet and tub were dirty. Shower curtain liner is stained from the hard water and no longer water proof. Coffee maker had old coffee and moldy coffee grounds in it. Plants look sad, with lots of dead leaves and stalks. Coffee cups and silverware were drying on the rack by the kitchen sink; they seemed to be clean?Apparently there was a misunderstanding between the property manager the the cleaning service regarding our arrival date. We would have been forgiving if the property manager had scrambled to do a thorough cleaning, including laundering sheets and towels and making the beds, immediately. She did at least offer to waive the cleaning fee.
