Beautiful spot and a wonderful home. The hosts were gracious and welcoming, and the house worked really well for our family. Being right on the lake was incredibly fun, and our kids had an absolute blast. Our one significant piece of feedback is that the house really needs a serious decluttering. Closets are overstuffed, and there is a lot of the owners’ old stuff throughout the house, both in locked cupboards and in cupboards and storage areas guests need to use. This was noticeable in the kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, and elsewhere, and made it harder than it should be to unpack and comfortably settle in. With a substantial decluttering, this could be an exceptional place to stay.

This home is perfect for a family and/or friends get together! We stayed for a blissful three weeks with our daughters, their husbands and two babies. There is more than enough space in the house, but we lived on the two fabulous decks because the weather was gorgeous. We rarely turned on the tv because there were round the clock wildlife shows going on in the adjacent park. The lake provided hours of entertainment as well. The kitchen was completely stocked. We cooked almost every night and were never short of anything we needed. The house is very comfy and easy to keep orderly. The neighbors that we met were all very nice people. Running to the golf course, or the grocery stores on Lakeway was a breeze! There is also a convenient market 5 mins from the house if you forget anything. Emma couldn't have been nicer, very responsive while also being unobtrusive. Highly recommend!

We booked this VRBO in March for a high school reunion—a long weekend bringing together seven women traveling from Nashville, Oregon, and the Eastside. We were excited to have a comfortable home where we could reconnect and spend time together. We received the entry code without any problems and arrived at approximately 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening. Upon entering the home, we immediately noticed a full bowl of dog food and food scraps on the table. Honestly, we had a moment of wondering whether we had accidentally entered an occupied home. As we looked around, it quickly became clear that the house had not been cleaned or turned over for our arrival. With three members of our group traveling directly from the airport, we immediately contacted the host. To her credit, she worked to find accommodations for us at an inn approximately 30 minutes away. However, when we arrived, we had to put the cost of the rooms on our own credit cards and wait to be reimbursed. The motel was neither clean nor well cared for, and, most importantly, it did not provide a common space where all seven of us could gather—the very reason we had rented a house together for this reunion. We appreciate that we were able to return to the house the following morning, and we genuinely enjoyed the beautiful view and the spaciousness of the property once we were able to settle in. However, there were also several maintenance and cleanliness issues that need attention. The towels were mildewed, the screen door

We absolutely take responsibility for the fact that the home was not cleaned prior to your arrival. There was a scheduling error with our cleaning team, and we sincerely apologize for that mistake. We understand how frustrating it was to arrive after traveling and find the home in that condition. In light of this situation, we’ve put in place additional reminders with our team members for each reservation. We were notified of the situation when you checked in just after 8pm. We immediately contacted our cleaner, who came out and had the home fully cleaned and ready for your group by approximately 10pm. When we discussed the options with you over the phone, your group preferred to stay at a hotel for the night, and we accommodated exactly what you requested. We found a hotel with last-minute availability and arranged and paid for four separate hotel rooms for your group. We understand that staying in a hotel was not what you had originally planned for your reunion, but we accommodated what your group requested and did everything we could to make that option as easy as possible for your group. In addition to covering the four hotel rooms, we also provided a discount on your overall stay as an additional gesture for the inconvenience. Of course, everyone can leave whatever review they feel is appropriate. However, given how quickly we addressed the issue, the fact that the home was ready within approximately two hours, and that we arranged and paid for four hotel rooms at your request in addition to discounting your stay, we do feel that we your response fairly reflects how this situation was handled or the efforts we made to accommodate your group. We are glad to hear that once you returned to the property, you enjoyed the beautiful view and spaciousness of the home. We’re sorry that your arrival did not go as planned, but we stand behind the effort we made to rectify the situation and accommodate your group.

Great house in an amazing location. We enjoyed swimming in the lake and paddling around in the included kayaks. The highlight was definitely the upstairs deck with the BBQ, dining and seating area directly overlooking the lake.
