Beachy Old Florida Cottage with Bikes 1.5 Mile to the Beach

Come stay at our Old Florida cottage located just a short 1.5 miles from the Gulf and our local Bonita Beach. Our cottage has the hard to find charm of Old Florida with the modern conveniences of today.
The space
Let me start off by saying our guest cottage is amazing! It has been completely updated with whitewashed wood plank tile flooring throughout...it's beautiful!

We're located just off of Bonita Beach Road, west of 41, WEST of Vanderbilt Road in Bonita Springs, FL...you can bike to the beach on our beach bikes. It only takes a few minutes to get there on a bike as the beach is about a mile and a half away. Close to everything...food, shopping, art galleries!

Attached to our main house (Also a vacation rental), our "Old Florida" cottage is a separate 385 square foot (35 square meters) guest house with its own entrance, kitchen, bath, laundry and large screened lanai. It is located on the right side of the main house (see the picture). The screened lanai adds a ton of extra space giving you a total indoor/outdoor living space of 565 square feet (52 square meters). And when you count the yard, you have 4000 square feet (371 square meters) of space to relax on! It is perfect for 1 or 2 people.

The main house and guest cottage are separated by a breezeway/Hallway and locked exterior doors which allows complete privacy. Most of my guests have said they never even saw the guests to the main house and vice versa.

The cottage is furnished with a comfy plush king sized bed with premium bedding. High thread count sheets and down pillows. It is elevated and has plenty of storage underneath. There is a beautiful armoire that you can hang your clothes in and also store clothes in the drawers

You can park your car under the carport in the rear of the cottage which is great on hot or rainy days.

Included: linens, towels, beach towels, coolers and water bottles, ice packs, shampoo, conditioner and body wash (via dispenser) toilet paper, paper towels, kitchen utensils, drip coffee maker, toaster, smoothie blender, microwave, stove, refrigerator, electric grill, beach supplies, beach bags, umbrellas, chairs, beach bikes, bike locks, ULTRA FAST high speed internet (450+Mbps wi-fi), cable television, smart tv and all utilities. Full heating and cooling. There is a flat panel LCD/DVD television combo mounted on the wall in the living area. It's fully furnished and has everything you need...just bring your clothes!

The back yard overlooks a large green space which gopher tortoises inhabit. You'll see them in the yard munching on the plants!

So, what's close by? Barefoot Beach, Vanderbilt Beach, Bonita Beach, Delnor Wiggins State Park, Ft. Myers Beach, Lover's Key. Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, Publix, Fresh Market and plenty of seasonal Farmer's markets for Organic foods. Royal Scoop Ice Cream shop, The Fish House Restaurant, Coconut Jacks Restaurant. Ft.
