Newly remodeled, bright garden apartment. 3-4 parking spaces provided for your toys and trailers.

This bright, airy space has 2 outdoor living areas. A gas grill and firepit are provided.

The apartment is within walking distance from the center of Northport Village.

2026 Dates now available with weekly discounts.

I also have an identical apartment available, upstairs, at this duplex making this a great opportunity for larger or multigenerational groups. Please reach out via message for the opportunity to book the entire place, even if it looks like the dates are blocked. The entire place can sleep up to 9 if needed.

Our cozy hospitable village hosts 3 public family friendly beaches, G. Marsten Dame public marina, The Mitten Brewery and Barb's Bakery (your life will change after trying one of the cinnamon rolls.)

Northshore Outfitters can accommodate all of you sporting rental needs including e-bikes, paddle boards, and boat rental.

There is a cadre of well appointed shops including The Porcupine, Yard and Lake, Pennington's, and our local rock shop, Northport Trading Post.

Northport hosts 2 craft speciality cocktail bars, Yard and Lake, and, Fingers Crossed.

In addition there are several eateries, several of which host live music. Enjoy live music at Faro, The Big Hot Woody serves fresh wood fired pizza and often hosts local musicians. Northport Grill has over 15 local beers and ciders on tap with live music and to die for onion rings. New Bohemian Cafe and Barb's Bakery offer fresh hot coffee and a fast casual breakfast/lunch menu

Now that is what is within walking distance!!!! And all these businesses are locally owned.

Just a short drive (10-20 min) takes you to Leelanau State Park, Christmas Cove, Peterson Park (a rockhounders paradise), Leland, Van's Beach, Suttons Bay, about 6 vineyards, and, hundreds of miles of hiking trails within the State Park and several Leelanau Conservancy locations including Houdek Dunes.

And, you are a 35 minute, scenic drive along M22 to the crown jewel of Leelanau County, Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore!

Please note, this is a pet friendly property, and there is an $85 per stay booking fee. We love fur babies in Northport. There is a dog park right across the street here and every restaurant has an outdoor, pet friendly patio.

Please let me know if you are bringing a fur baby as I prepare the space differently and also have to let my cleaner know as we have a different cleaning procedure for post pet stays. At times there is a glitch in the app when booking and there isn't a space to register your pet for some reason. Please message me.

The fans helped cool down the house since there is only one wall AC unit in the bedroom. The flowers and guest book were a nice and welding touch. I love that the TV in the coo in space had a ROKU and streaming services. The kitchen was very nice and updated.

This was the perfect place to stay to explore all that Leelanau County offers. The host was very easy to communicate with and the apt had everything we needed for comfort. Would definitely stay here again!

We stayed 4 nights and the property was easy to find. There was plenty of space in the separate driveway for our trailer with kayaks and bikes. The location was minutes from Northport and close to many attractions; lighthouse and wineries.Our hostess gave us info about the Tart Trail and where to launch kayaks as well as local restaurants to visit.The neighborhood is quiet and the apartment is spacious and had everything we needed for our stay. It is a duplex type so not an apartment complex which was a fabulous feature.Would absolutely rebook when going that way again!Cathy

We had a fantastic stay! The apartment was super clean and well equipped with everything we needed. It was the perfect home base for our exploration of the Leelanau peninsula.The host checked in to make sure we had everything we needed, left beautiful fresh flowers for us and provided really helpful information about Northport, including the best routes for walking to town. We would stay again.

I have quite a hockey jersey collection including an Yzerman and my prized jersey, the first professional game worn jersey of Conor Garland! Great stay!

The pictures were very accurate and we had a great stay! We appreciated the fresh flowers and the cottage was well stocked and very clean. We didn't use it but it even had a wine fridge! We enjoyed visiting the towns of Northport, Suttons Bay, Glen Arbor & Leland. There is so much to do in the area, Christmas Cove Beach, the lighthouse, wineries, Hop Lot Brewery & a new upscale putt putt golf course with a bar in Glen Arbor.

Wonderful

We loved this apartment it was very close to restaurants and shopping. The decor was colorful and fun. The attention to detail did not go unnoticed. Flowers were placed in the kitchen, bathroom, with a large bouquet on the table. Even the dishes matched the décor. The outside area was also very inviting. We hope to go back next year.

This was the perfect stop at the end of our scenic drive along M22. We did not have time to enjoy all the amenities; we would have really enjoyed making a fire in the outdoor fire pit. In the fall when we visited, dining options were limited in town but a full grocery store is only 1 minute away and the kitchen is very well stocked. The beds in the bedroom were very comfortable as well as the sofa bed in the living room. Wifi worked great. Shower water pressure was great and plenty of hot water. Heating worked great; follow carefully the host's instructions. All instructions were very detailed and easy to follow; we also enjoyed reading the host's story and some of the stories in the guest book. Would definitely stay here again!

Northport getaway

The overall impression of the property was great. The pictures are very accurate as to what the property did look like. The kitchen was fantastic, had absolutely everything you could possibly need. The bathroom was well stocked, and I loved the thick towels! Games and puzzles were available to use, umbrellas provided for a rainy day, and the front patio was very nice although never used. My couple draw backs were there were 26 pillows on the day beds (and a few stray dog hairs) which had to be removed and where do they go, but on the floor. Day beds are not really comfortable for sitting in and visiting. Also, the bed in the bedroom is definitely not a king size. A king size bed is 80" long and my husband sits right at six foot and actually had his toes hang over the end of the bed when he was laying on his stomach, although I thought the mattress was comfortable. All in all, I would absolutely recommend the location!

Thanks for the input. I use information from guests to make changes. The beds in the bedroom are from a previous property manager. They use a "cruise ship" type setup with 2 twin so the beds can be put together or spearated. I didn't even realize it is shorther than a standard king. I'm also 6 ft. tall and understand. I will change the listing description to show the measurement of the length of the bed. Based on your feedback I realize it's not really a full, or a queen, or a king. The daybed setup in the livingroom was born of necessity to accomodate as many overnight guests as possible as rentals up here are so scarce. There are bins under the daybeds to store the pillows. I'll make sure to add that information to the welcome packet and add more storage for the cushions. I've considered changing out the daybeds for other furniture, however, then the unit would only sleep 2 people and not 4 so I'm not ready to make that change yet as so many young families appreciate the setup. Rentals at this price point that sleep 4 are pretty scarce up here. This is a pet friendly rental. I have also considered changing that next season as no matter how much the space is cleaned, there seems to always be 3 wayward hairs. We also put furniture covers on when there will be pets and keeping the space fur free is a struggle. I really don't want to change that policy, and I may have to. Again, honest input helps us hosts change what we can. Thank you.

A very nice and recently re-modeled property both inside and out. Very convenient location in the town of Northport. We loved the color scheme. The patio was great for morning breakfast and coffee. Northport is a very nice and friendly town and not far from Leland, Omena, Suttons Bay, and the lighthouse. If we decide to come back to the area, we would consider staying at Samantha's place first.
