We were in Sutton's Bay on business for the weekend and the condo was perfect for our needs. Comfortably appointed and comfortable beds, complete kitchen for our needs a plus, private parking big enough for our full sized van a plus, and the view of the bay from the deck was sublime.Karen and Kim were gracious hosts and readily available for questions. We would love to stay again!

Great family weekend in Suttons Bay

We spent Labor Day weekend at this spot in Suttons Bay, and we'd absolutely recommend it. The location was perfect -- super close to restaurants, the playground and the beach. We loved sitting on the balcony and watching the sunset, and there was plenty of space inside for our kids to run around.

Suttons Bay Getaway

The Suttons Bay apartment was a wonderful place to stay. It was spotless, spacious, and had a full kitchen. The location was perfect with views of the marina.

Perfect location!

We stayed as a quick summer get away “up north”. The location was perfect and very quiet. We spent a lot of time on the balcony and enjoyed the view of the boats and the water. Many restaurants are in walking distance and we were able to tour around during the day, come back and park and head out to dinner without moving the car. The unit is clean and I will definitely stay there again on my next trip north.

Suttons Bay Stay

Great location. Close to shops, restaurants, public beach and marina. This is a second story apartment/condo over shops. Enjoyed the deck which had eastern views of the marina and bay. Karen provided great communication and was available for questions if we needed. Also, loved having a Keurig coffee maker too.

We liked the location and the view. The only issue we had was the lack of poles in the bedroom closets. There were 3 small hooks in each closet. We were unable to hang most of our clothes.

Great Stay

This is the second year my husband and I stayed here so we must like it. It is very convenient, close to shops and restaurants, coffee shop below the condo, very nice. This works out well as we like to golf, go to the winery's, sight seeing. Biking is close by, with the beach area across the road. Traverse City is not far if you would like to go into there for shopping and/or restaurants. Very nice. I would also mention that if you are in Sutton's Bay to visit Maratha's Table- food is very good! Again, I will mention that there isn't air conditioning at this time (although the owners are looking into that), which normally I would say isn't a problem as the breeze you get from the Bay cools down at night very well, except maybe on the hot muggy days. Other than that I don't have a problem with recommending this place, it is clean and convenient, furniture newer, beds are comfortable, owners are very good to work with. I would stay here again, I really like it!

Great location, great town

Having never been to Suttons Bay, I wasn't sure exactly what I was getting myself and my family into when I booked our long weekend. We have two small children (3 and nearly 2), so the proximity to the beach and park was the selling point for me, and now that the trip is over, I have no regrets over my choice of lodging. We loved having the ability to walk across the street to play on the playground, play at the beach and splash around in the water. The bed was comfortable enough, and we had brought our own pillows, so I can't really speak to the quality of what is there. There is a small grocery store half a mile from the condo, which is convenient enough, but you have to travel down a busy M-22, so it's not exactly walkable. The town itself has several restaurants to choose from, but our favorite was Hop Lot and it's great Up North atmosphere. The patio was nice to sit out on and watch the sunrise and enjoy the long Michigan summer evenings. The air conditioning kept the place very comfortable during the day, but it is a wall unit and not central air, so if you want the benefits of A/C, either leave your bedroom door open at night or hope the temperatures outside are accommodating at night. There are fans in every room for additional air circulation. There are plenty of pots and pans for meal prep, but there are only 4 each of bowls, plates and salad plates, so either be ready to use the dishwasher after every meal or bring a sponge/brush for cleanup after meals. We will most likely stay here again in the future.

Nice condo

Very clean comfortable condo, right across the street from a harbor and sandy beach, complete with picnic and shady areas. The condo is right around the corner from cute shops and restaurants. Very enjoyable, relaxing time.

Perfect spot in a quiet town

This second-floor unit is located squarely in the middle of small Suttons Bay, close enough to walk to the coffee shops (Northern Latitudes is directly below), restaurants, shops, bike rentals, the beach and more. The unit itself provides ample space for four adults - two bedrooms separated by a spacious bathroom in between. The selling point, and where we spent the majority of our time, is the balcony overlooking the marina with a view of the bay. Four Adirondack chairs and two side tables fit us perfectly. We did not bring any kids, but for families that do, there is a good size beach right next to the marina with playground sets and volleyball nets. Suttons Bay ended up being the ideal landing spot for us. We visited wineries and restaurants from Leland to Traverse City, including a stop at Brys Estates Vineyard (amazing views) in the Old Mission peninsula. In case your visit includes a wine tour, don’t miss 45, Two K, and Aurora. Karen (the host) was very timely with informative texts and messages about checking in and making sure everything was in place. If we decide to return to Suttons Bay, this will be the first place we look for reservations for sure! 5 stars all the way.

Suttons Bay Gem

We enjoyed a wonderful weekend in Suttons Bay to attend a wedding. First of all, the location is perfect - walkable to dinner, coffee, ice cream, not to mention the beach is right across the street! Wineries are close (Shady Lane / Black Star) and Leland / Northport a quick 10-15 minute trip. The Tart bike trail begins right in Suttons Bay and is a nice17 mile trail that is relatively flat. The unit was very clean, comfortable beds/living room furniture, and nice patio overlooking the marina. This is an upstairs unit. Would definitely stay here again!
