Venez découvrir tout ce que la Mid-Coast du Maine a à offrir dans une belle amitié. Idéalement situé entre Portland et Bar Harbor, Friendship n'est qu'à quelques minutes de nombreuses des plus belles attractions du Maine. Notre chalet est directement sur l'eau avec un quai privé pour une mise à l'eau facile. Apportez votre propre petit bateau ou utilisez l'un des trois kayaks ou un canoë inclus dans cette location ou, apportez votre plus grand bateau et lancez-le depuis le débarcadère de la ville, à moins d'un mile du chalet. Le chalet est joliment aménagé avec trois chambres dont une chambre principale avec un lit queen-size et une mezzanine avec lits jumeaux que vos enfants vont adorer! Il y a aussi une chambre de niveau inférieur avec un futon queen. Le matelas est de très haute qualité pour assurer votre confort. Cette chambre a également sa propre salle de bain complète pour une intimité incroyable au niveau inférieur. Avec de hauts plafonds et une grande terrasse, le chalet se sent spacieux et aéré même lorsque vous avez une maison pleine! Passez vos journées au chalet à lire sur le pont tout en admirant la vue à couper le souffle tout en écoutant les homards alors qu'ils tirent leurs prises. Faites de longues promenades ou partez explorer les îles environnantes en kayak ou faites une longue sieste tout en écoutant les phoques communs s'appeler les uns les autres. Un jour de brouillard, vous voudrez peut-être vous recroqueviller devant la cheminée avec votre chien dormant à vos côtés. Le bois est fourni! Les plus aventureux voudront peut-être passer des jours à jouer au golf, à faire du shopping, à visiter des phares ou à faire des croisières dans le port. Les villes touristiques de Rockland, Camden et Damariscotta sont toutes à seulement 30-40 minutes en voiture. Même le parc national d'Acadia est à seulement deux heures de route. Après une longue journée de visites, vous pouvez retourner à Friendship pour la paix et la sérénité.

Remarque, Friendship est une petite ville avec un petit magasin général et seulement un ou deux magasins. Mais vous pouvez toujours marcher pour un cornet de crème glacée le soir ou aller au port lorsque les bateaux à homard arrivent et acheter du homard aussi frais que possible! C'est un petit village parfait du Mid-Coast Maine dont vous tomberez amoureux.

Perfect get away for a peaceful and restorative reset. So close to nature preserves for hikes, right on the water for kayaking and close to so many places to get fresh and delicious lobster. The property had everything that you could ever need and was decorated perfectly for a cozy vibe. Owner was amazing and easy to communicate with. We will definitely return!!!

Another fantastic stay at Amy's place in Friendship! This was our fourth year, and as long as we are able, we will continue to come here for our extended visit to Maine. We enjoy everything about it: the lovely sunset views from the deck; kayaking from the dock to watch the seals just offshore; the proximity to nearby villages and towns, with all the restaurants; and of course, the lovely, friendly, and helpful neighbors next door and in this little community on Delano Cove.

Beautiful location and very relaxing

The place has all the amenities you need for a rustic stay in Maine. Host was very responsive to any questions we had. We really enjoyed hanging out on the deck over looking the water and using the kayaks.

Spectacular views and location

We loved our week at this property! Amy was always available and so easy to communicate with. We kayaked from the dock every day and enjoyed paddling around all the nearby islands. We saw gray seals, a bald eagle, terns, herons, and egrets. The house is rustic, comfortable, and well supplied. The neighborhood is quiet and the neighbors friendly and welcoming. We did easy day trips to numerous coastal communities, which was great fun. All in all a magical week, and we absolutely hope to return.

This was our third stay at this great property. We had a great time kayaking, hiking and viewing the abundant wildlife. We visited Hog Island, Port Clyde, Rockland and other local attractions. We look forward to returning to Friendship, Maine.

We had a wonderful time! The view from the deck and the property is breathtaking. The location is perfect for a quiet, laid back home base to relax on the water while being close to day trips (within 1 hour) to beaches, restaurants, seafood markets, shopping, and excursions. The cottage is quaint and peaceful with a fully stocked kitchen. We appreciated the thorough instructions and recommendations, which answered any question we might have had! My only regret was not having a chance to get a kayak out on the water and that time wouldn't slow down more. We hope to return!

Perfect getaway

This property was perfect. Had a great view with my coffee in the morning. Saw a bunch of seals in the bay. The kayaks were a fantastic addition to the stay. We had a great time and will definitely look to stay here again in the future.

Cozy waterfront cottage

We had a wonderful stay. Amy was terrific- gave us all the info we needed and kept in touch the entire trip. The house was cute and cozy and well stocked not only with essentials but also extras like games and kayaks and wood for the fire pit. The property was well maintained and the view was amazing. We will definitely stay here again.

Another great stay in Friendship

This is our third time staying at Amy's waterfront cottage in Friendship, and it just keeps getting better. The home is spotlessly clean, the view is fabulous, and the hosts and neighbors are wonderful people. We love kayaking from the dock, and visiting the seals, the loons, and the eagles. We will return again and again!

Peaceful Vacation

The views from the deck were absolutely stunning. The sunsets were vibrant and amazing over the ocean. We saw eagles, seals playing, and lots of wildlife. House was very cozy, and relaxing. If your trying to find a super relaxing, peaceful, getaway look no further this is the place for you! Owner was incredibly nice, upfront, and helpful. I would definitely rent from her again. The house has tons of information on places to visit, and sites to see.

Great for extra guests

This is the 2nd time I've rented this home for over flow guests, since lots of friends want to visit Maine and I can't house all of them at the same time. My friends enjoyed their stay and say that the house is well maintained. The price is very reasonable for midcoast Maine at the height of the season and Amy has always been very responsive and helpful.

Lovely cottage with amazing views

We enjoyed our stay at this cottage. It was rustic but had everything we needed. The views were gorgeous and we loved just sitting on the deck relaxing. My husband and son only took the kayaks out once but they had fun. Amy was very responsive to any issues we had in a timely manner. We visited Damarascotta,Boothbay Harbor,Rockland and Camden. All within a half hour to 45 minute drive. Thanks for a great vacation,Amy!

Our second year in Friendship

This was our second year staying at Amy's cottage in Friendship, and our time here was again as wonderful and magical as the first. The cottage itself is very comfortable and clean, and Amy is a great host: communicative and clearly caring that her guests enjoy their time here. And enjoy we did: mornings on the deck, overlooking Muscongus Bay and its always entertaining theater; kayaking and visiting with the seals offshore; incredible sunsets over the water, not to be missed. The neighbors are welcoming and helpful. The midcoast location offers much to do, and nearby restaurants, like Jameson's, are great opportunities to enjoy fresh seafood in a casual atmosphere. We will be returning again and again.

Relaxing getaway!

Quiet town, not too far away from attractions. The kids, adults & dog alike enjoyed their stay very much. We all loved going out on the canoe & getting pleasantly startled by the seals. We explored the islands & saw beautiful eagles! The kids tried fishing but I don’t think it’s quite the ideal location for that. We went to the marina to purchase lobsters which were delicious. The house had everything that we needed and was exactly like the listing said. The deck is expansive and a perfect location to keep an eye on the dog & kids when they were playing by the dock at low tide. We had a couple of days that were rainy so we decide to do movies & a dinner in Rockland. The other day we just stayed in, watched some Netflix and read. I would certainly stay there again. The neighbors were very friendly and we had a great vacation.

A Wonderful Vacation Home!

Thank you, Amy, for opening your rental home to us for our annual vacation in Maine. We have been coming to Maine since 2010 and this was the best, by far, outdoor space we have been able to experience. The inside of the home was lovely as well, but we are outdoor kind of people so we really enjoyed it. The deck on the home was perfect, the dock was perfect and two of the days we say the harbor seals, which was very exciting! We had one rainy morning, which was perfect for hanging out inside, playing games and reading. I had adequate cell phone signal, (AT&T) but it did surprise me to find that even though I had cell signal and could call home or text, there isn't any internet service available, which was absolutely fine. We had a wonderful time and look forward to returning next year!

Lovely Vacation Spot!

This was our second year at this property and we enjoyed it even more than last year. The only thing missing this year were the Harbor Seals, they were being stubborn and not showing up where we could see them. The home was lovely and even though there was an unforeseen plumbing issue in the downstairs bathroom, it was taken care of immediately and caused no issue for us. This year we purchased lobsters at Jamison’s, which is a five minute drive from the cabin and for 50 cents a pound they cooked our lobsters for us, we brought them home and that was just the best! As a mom that cooks for six people every single day, it was a real treat to have someone else cook the lobsters. We hope to return again next year! Thanks for a lovely vacation Amy!

Really a lovely place! older camp/cabin... worked well for two of us. but TINY!!! and DARK! photos really made it look both bigger and bright... not the case! generally clean - but under bed/furniture definitely needs vacuuming... cabin also needs updating. Windows could use replacing. Bathroom/shower window sill in the ever-so-small bathroom is black w ingrained mildew... yes. nice water access. and amazing 10ft tides on the beautiful Muscongus Bay... Basement bedroom/futon - is down some steep stairs... although there is an outside door... The attic loft twin bed space - again - careful! steep stairs... and only for kids! and the privacy? neighbors pretty close. hmmm... one neighbor is just across a fence/garden - the other is situated a bit further through some thin woods. but a very nice waterside deck! great sunsets! Overall - give the water/view a 5/5. House/accomodation 3/5. It was nice. Will we book again? No.

I am so sorry to hear you didn't love our cabin! It is 1660 square feet-not what I would consider "tiny" but I suppose that is just a matter of opinion. I aim for full transparency in my listing and feel awful when folks don't love their time in Maine. My listing does indicate the home is not appropriate for the elderly or infirm-perhaps you are one or the other as no one has ever complained that the stairs are too steep. I appreciate your feedback!

Amazing Rustic Cabin In Friendship

Such a great property! Nice quiet property and neighbors. All the essentials available for a relaxing stay on the bay! Saw eagles, osprey, herons and harbor seals. Kayaking off the property is amazing and the view is spectacular! Enjoyed coffee on the deck each morning and plenty of kitchen basics and pantry items available. Great selection of books and games for rainy days and plenty of propane and firewood for the gas grill and wood fire pit. Queen size bedroom on first floor, queen futon in living room, full size futon in basement with separate bathroom and two twins in the loft gave us ample space to spread our abs relax. Communication with Amy was great, she is very responsive and accommodating! Loved that we could bring the pups, they enjoyed the vacation too! Highly recommended and would stay here again for another relaxing and amazing vacation, thanks for sharing your home with us!!

Only issue- LOOK CLOSELY at listing Notes! Renter must bring towels & bed linens- we had to go buy sheets for 5 beds plus towels. Kitchen well-stocked. Deck with view was terrific. Wouldn’t say “unsanitary” since sinks. Showers seemed clean but cabin Could use a good cleaning - if you drop something under a chair or bed you see dust that’s been accumulating quite a while and spider webs in loft that we cleaned before sleeping. We'd still go back again for all the other features.

Thank you for your review. I am inclined to point out there are three places where it is indicated linens are not provided. The listing itself, the rental agreement, and in the final document sent prior to the rental commencing. It is the first item listed, in all capital letters, where it is also indicated I can provide them if it is an inconvenience to bring them. Had you reached out, I would have been happy to provide you with everything you needed. I’m glad you enjoyed your stay!

This is the property my family rented when I was young. Years later my Father decided he wanted to purchase the property when it became available for sale. He spent many lovely weeks here before passing away. I love this home with its perfect view of the Bay and its cozy cabin feel.
