Park your car and never have a reason to leave again! This condo being ON the boardwalk means everything CB has to offer is at your fingertips! Wake up in a bright, clean, and well appointed oceanfront 1-bedroom condo. Spend the day soaking up the sun on the beach or the private Cabana pool, and cook a full meal right from your home away from home! Stunning views and a clean comfortable oasis are awaiting you at The Wave Watcher @ The Cabana!

This is the only private, gated community building on the boardwalk with an elevator and covered parking, located next to the Hampton Inn.



Walk or ride your bike to basically ANYTHING in CB! Guests using one bedroom suites are allowed one paper parking pass. There is first come first serve, covered parking under the building and if that is full, there are two lots across the street marked with a Cabana Owners and guests sign. There is a paid parking lot between the two cabana lots.

We had an issue with the bed. We slept in it one night but it was sunken in the middle and we both struggled because it felt like you were sucked into the middle of the bed. We were definitely not happy with that but we just had two days on the beach so we were trying to make the best of it. The next morning when we were getting ready, my husband sat on the edge of the bed and it broke. We contracted to owner right away. It till a little time to get a response but we let her know first thing in the morning. We let her know we would be out until after dinner and thought it would be taken care of. We got back after dinner and there was a bed frame sitting in the hall outside the door. She let us know that a handyman had stood her up and said “ if we don’t know how to put it together, she would refund the second night” . It was almost 8 at night and we had to find other accomodatikns
 or make our own bed. Even then we tried to go with the flow, but then i got a message from her saying the damage was beyond normal wear and tear as if she was blaming us for the broken bed. We literally did nothing but sleep in the bed. after driving down there for 10 hours we just slept. That was the straw that broke the camels back.

Great location

This is a nice condo in a great area, easy access to the beach, and within walking distance to everything. It was subpar in cleanliness and early communication with the host. Our card was charged without informing us before or after.

Disappointing

The code given for the key pad to the room was incorrect,the key pad would not work at all when we came back from walk, had to contact manager to get code to lock box with key. The hot water ran out after 1st shower, had to wait 30 minutes for hot water to catch up and every show or bath afterwards, the rooms were small. Location was good and decor was nice, will stay elsewhere next time.

Can’t beat the Cabana

Best location in Carolina Beach for access to the action yet in a quiet location. While you can clearly hear the music booming out of the Sea Witch from the outdoor hallway, the actual units are quiet and peaceful.

Convenient Oceanfront Location

The best oceanfront location at the beach. Just a few steps to the beach and the boardwalk. We were able to watch the fireworks display from the balcony. Condo was clean and the property manager was very communicative.
