Cozy Guest House on Fitzhugh Rd in the Hill Country, 14 miles to downtown Austin

Located off the happening yet remote Fitzhugh Rd, the guest house is beautiful. Its high ceilings and windows bring in plenty of natural light, creating a relaxing and spacious feel. Situated in the TX Hill Country, you'll be surrounded by nature and have easy access to wineries, breweries, restaurants, hiking trails, and more. Downtown Austin is less than 20 miles away, making it ideal for those seeking peace and quiet outside the city's hustle and bustle.

This lovely guest house in the hill country boasts two bedrooms and one and a half bathrooms. It is fully furnished and comes with a well-stocked kitchen. The main bedroom features a king-size bed, a chest of drawers, and an armoire with a small smart TV. The full bathroom, located right opposite the main bedroom, is always stocked with fabulous toiletries from our travels or Sephora points! The artsy and fun second bedroom comes with a full-size bed, a chest of drawers, and an attached half bath.

The storage closet off the kitchen has two full-size blow-up mattresses and extra pillows for additional guests. In the armoires in both bedrooms, you'll find sheets and plenty of extra blankets, quilts, etc.

The kitchen has pots, pans, olive oil, spices, and much more for cooking fabulous meals or something quick and easy. Please let me know if you need anything else. Coffee is always provided.

The living room has a big and cozy bean bag, an excellent option for napping and watching your shows on the smart TV. There is also a ping-pong table for those looking for some competitive fun!

We have a fantastic study/office for anyone needing to get some work done. It has a lovely large desk, plenty of pens, notebook paper, a stapler, etc. It's a great place to focus and be creative!

The guest house also has a Peloton with adjustable toe cages for those who want to exercise. You'll need your login to take a class, but you can ride freely!

The laundry room is behind the door between the main bedroom and the full bath. You'll find a stackable washer and dryer, laundry detergent, etc., here, as well as an iron and ironing board. Lastly, a rolling garment rack for hanging clothes and hangers, as neither bedroom has an actual closet. A second rolling rack can be found in the storage closet off the kitchen. Both bedrooms have plenty of drawers to store clothing and other items.

Guests will have access to the guest house, fenced-in patio area, and three parking spaces on-site.

Other things to note
Pet fee: a one-time, non-refundable $30 fee per dog. Two dogs maximum. I may bend on three depending on the situation. Just ask!
