Fisher Mountain Retreat

Fisher Mountain Retreat is lovely cabin nestled in the woods of Woodward, PA.  Beautifully furnished and sparkling clean, you'll find this the perfect spot for your next family getaway.  On the main floor there are three bedrooms with. full size beds and two full bathrooms, a kitchen with a commercial stove, and dining area with plenty of seating and a cozy living room.  There are large expanses of windows that fill the house with natrual light.  Upstairs is a loft area with a full size bed, a full bathroom, and a private deck.  There is a large porch off the back of the cabin and a fire-pit and eating area.  In the detached garage is a game room with lots of space and plenty of games for family fun.

We're planning to add a hot tub in the near future.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

- Shuffleboard, Can Jam, Ping Pong, Corn Hole games available.

- We kindly ask that there are no fireworks, loud music, or rowdy behavior.

- Check-in is at 3:00 PM and check-out is at 10:00 AM.

- Please be aware you will be charged 10% of the total trip at booking and the remaining 90% will be charged to the card on file, thirty days before check-in.

-Security cameras are on the exterior only.

- Absolutely no pets. If a pet is discovered, there will be a $250 upcharge.

This property is as beautiful as advertised. The house and property is magnificent and well maintained. The location provides complete privacy and a serene environment. The house was fully equipped with everything to make our stay comfortable and relaxing. The only criticism is the WiFi is very spotty but definitely not enough to interfere with the 5 star rating.

Fisher Mtn Retreat

Wonderful setting for our family gathering! Clean & spacious with many options for spreading out. The game barn was a big hit, especially with our teens and younger crew. Lots of opportunities to enjoy the outdoors on the deck and at the fire pit. Also it's conveniently located to a multitude of nearby trail systems for hiking. A great place!

Nice stay, beautiful cabin in Amish country!

Loved the garage with all games, though an outdoor heater would've been appreciated. House was as pictured, except the "room" with 2 beds is actually an open loft space. The mattresses were very hard, that was my only real complaint, otherwise the stay was great!

What a Beautiful house!

Absolutely gorgeous! Perfect for our girls scrapbooking getaway. Home was very clean, well stocked and spacious. Appreciated Wi-Fi connection and did not miss the distraction of a tv. We enjoyed our weekend immensely! Suggestions: whisk or hand mixer for kitchen, and a few more dishes

First, the place is represented well as described and pictured. Great kitchen and sleeping arrangements, plenty of room. Communication with the property management company was inconsistant. Here are the issues stand out. First, the Google Maps link sent from the company directed us to the wrong place and had to ask those owners where the VRBO place was. Second, as others have said, wifi is spotty and slow inside the house. Third, we had requested early on to have some additional firewood delivered as we really enjoy a great campfire and the bonding of our group around it. The wood was confirmed to be delivered. None arrived. Multiple contacts to the management company while we were at Fisher Mountain went unanswered for 2 days. Still never received an answer as to what happened after communicating with the managment company for many after departure. I really wanted to give more stars, but the overall experieince left me wanting a better experieince.

Mine and my sister’s families came up after our mother’s funeral. (My family is from Hawaii, hers from PA) We grew up camping in the seven mountains. This was perfect! Our adult children (20-28) enjoyed the games in the “barn” and “campfires in the mornings and evenings. We had time to rest and remember but in a gorgeous house with running water and electricity! Lol. vs our childhood tents with no water or electricity. But close enough, we could travel to our old campsite. a beautiful secluded house on a gorgeous property, remote but not too far from a town and very quiet. We also took our “kids” to nearby Penns Cave as an outing and really enjoyed it. Would totally recommend this property and stay here again! Host was very way to work with and property was just as it was presented.

Great home for a large family. Spent quality time playing games and making meals in the wonderful kitchen. Didn’t get to enjoy the deck or fire pit due to rain but seemed cozy. Plenty of showers and space for everyone. WiFi is a little spotty and with no tvs maybe would have brought a radio/speaker but otherwise greatly stay!
