This farmhouse-style home is the perfect getaway for families and friends looking for a relaxing retreat with plenty of activities nearby. Located on the Mill Creek Golf Course and a short golf cart ride from downtown Salado. We offer the optional golf cart rental for added convenience and fun during your stay with us!

Enjoy our spacious living area with a cozy limestone fireplace, a well-equipped kitchen, and three full bathrooms, we ensure that guests have everything they need for a comfortable stay. The three bedrooms offer a variety of sleeping arrangements, and plenty of space for everyone.

The nearby attractions include wineries, craft breweries, restaurants, shopping, and day spas for ample opportunities for entertainment and relaxation. This farmhouse getaway is ideal for families or large parties seeking outdoor activities, leisure, and quality time together.

*A golf cart rental is available during your stay for $150. A signed waiver is required.

Our host was very friendly and responsive to our needs. The place was beautiful and the daily visits from the deer felt enchanting. The town with its shops and historic look made for a wonderful vacation. We will be back to stay here again.

We had a great time and the house was perfect for our group. We enjoyed the pool table and the house was cute and clean. Lauren was a wonderful host. I should mention the second bedroom says it is a queen size bed, but it is clearly a full-size bed.

Buttercup Camp

Five ladies known as Buttercups celebrating two 80th birthdays and 50 years of friendship. The accommodations were very nice and the property manager quickly resolved a coffee pot issue by sending a keurig coffee maker immediately upon our suggestion. Salado is a lovely little town with many interesting shops and restaurants.

Property was good. A few things could have made it great. Fix the WiFi. It goes out constantly and when reported was told to reset the modem. Had to do this about every hour of our stay. Next if you advertise that it has a bath (which my wife needed due to medical conditions)then It should be clean and at least have a stopper to be able to take a bath. Lastly. I read the reviews that you cannot really cook there due to lack of pots or pans. I did not listen to these as I thought people were just being picky. They were correct. Being able to cook there is a joke. Any pots and pans there are so old and scratched up that you would be eating non slip surface with every bite. Did have one great looking baking pan but it won’t fit in the oven. Lol. Overall was a nice place. I was hoping to invite family over for a nice home cooked meal. That was not possible. I would recommend staying here

Great location! Was perfect for my Family. Very spacious. Everything was perfect, except for a couple shortcomings
. The listing specified three bathrooms. The bathroom with the shower was only usable for the sink And toilet. The shower trickled water. We were unable to use it and had to share another bathroom. The towels Provided were the size of a toddler towel, also there were no wash cloths. Lastly, while I know the property was a pet friendly We did not bring a pet. The couch was covered in animal hair and underneath it as well, was a layer of animal hair. These things are The reason some of my ratings were an 4 out of 5. In my opinion these are easy fixes For a new property listing but overall, we very much enjoyed our stay!

Get-a-way

The house was spacious and the pool table was a plus. This house will be great for families and golf groups. A couple of suggestions
the mirror in the front bedroom is so high I I couldn’t see myself in it and I’m 5’5”. Might consider lowering it. No wash rags in the bathrooms so had to use hand towels to wash face and clean-up. Lastly, the cushions on the bench on back patio are dirty. You might consider replacing them and keeping them in the house when it isn’t being used. Kitchen is reasonably stocked.
