Description de la propriété:

Shore's Bliss est une maison de rêve pour votre escapade à la plage! La propriété propose 2 espaces de vie séparés, idéal pour donner aux enfants leur propre espace, et comprend même une kitchenette en bas. Shore's Bliss est situé au cœur de Surf City, offrant un accès facile aux magasins, restaurants et attractions. Lorsque vous avez terminé en ville, vous pouvez vous détendre sur votre terrasse face à l'océan ou sortir directement sur la plage avec votre propre accès privé!

Shore's Bliss propose 4 chambres, 3 salles de bain complètes et une kitchenette supplémentaire au niveau inférieur. La taille des lits comprend un lit king-size, 2 lits queen-size, un lit pyramidal (lits jumeaux en haut, lit double en bas) et un canapé-lit queen-size. Des oreillers, des tartinades et des couvertures sont fournis. Les draps ne sont PAS fournis, mais sont disponibles à la location.

Great location! Easy to walk to town and loved hearing the ocean. House was overall clean, a little dated, but the being on the beach made up for it. Water pressure was great in 3 of the 4 bathrooms.

Great week meeting with friends. Plenty of space - restrooms for everyone! Wonderful front and back seating areas for dining and visiting while enjoying the ocean views and cool breeze. Great for small groups.

We had a lovely time. We would come back again.

Loved that you had plenty of hot water. Had 91 year old mother in law with us. Flamingo rug kept buckling up. Fall risk. Mold in several places. Nice well stocked kitchen. Nice appliances. All the furniture and swing on all the porches were very nice. Would come again.

Great location

We enjoyed our stay even with the stormy weather. When they say its on the water, they arent exaggerating. At high tide the water comes up to the dunes and you could cast a fishing pole from the deck. We had 4 adults and 4 children (9-18 y/o) and the space was perfect size for us.

The dishwasher doesn’t clean dishes, had to hand wash everything. The furniture on the oceanfront deck missing cushions. The house has definitely seen better days but we still enjoyed our stay.

Without going into too many details this property is definitely a get what you pay for situation. The photos definitely help it when compared to in person. This is an older home at a lower rate than some and definitely shows it. The location is perfect to walk to surf city and be right on the water but the house definitely leaves a lot to be desired. If you need what this offers and dont mind the overall cleanliness or functions that dont perform well its a good place. But its quite old and has definitely seen better days.

Great location, house could use some updates

The convenience of being right on the beach is the biggest advantage of this property. Our family ranges from age 3 to 80, so it was nice for all members to be able to come and go to the beach and house as needed. There was enough room for everyone, and the house was clean overall. Both porches were big and functional. And the outdoor shower was very nice to be able to rinse sand off before going in the house. However it was obvious that nothing had been updated in quite some time. While we didn’t really mind the dated cabinets, floors and appliances, it really could use some new mattresses and some more functional non-stick pots and pans.

Best vacation ever

Shore’s Bliss was everything plus more. Kitchen was well equipped. The mattresses on the beds were nice. Only bed that seem to need mattress help was the pyramid bunk 😢. Even the pull out sofas slept well. Cannot say enough great things about the porches! We spent most of our House time on the street side porch! It is wonderful. The outside shower is a definite plus and big enough to accommodate an adult with children to wash! Short walk, very short, to the beach directly off the deck. The beach is roomy and clean and family oriented. We went out to eat a couple of times at Daddy Mac’s and ShakoTaco. Can’t say enough about how wonderful food was at both and priced for families on vacation! Overall a wonderful experience!! Highly recommend!!

Beach time

We had a great time . You are right on the beach which is wonderful. My complaint is that the stairs that lead you down to the beach are covered with sand . And you are trying to get Down a dune . They have a rope that helps you get up . This needs to be assessed. So the down stairs of the house is nice but smells musty . Also it needs some new cooking supplies. The refrigerators don’t cool right . There was also an ant problem in the kitchen. It was a great location. It’s just needs some updating.

House is a total dump. We have stayed at many places in Topsail. This one by far the worst

Site was dirty. A lot of the house was in disrepair. TV did not work. Shower door was broken. Paint chipped off of many things in the house. Mattress covers were badly yellowed. All the doors had dirt all around the door handle. Other than the porches and decks, nothing about this facility was good.

This review is puzzling to us and has some omissions. Two of the guests were in the property for 2 days with no complaints and apparently were satisfied. After two days, some other guests showed up and began to complain. After attempting to address their issues, we elected to move the guests to another rental and they seemed satisfied with the new rental. The property itself is an older home and priced as such. The home was not dirty as it had just been cleaned prior to the guest's arrival. There are always maintenance items to address with older oceanfront homes and the owner does stay on top of them as they come along.

Nice place to stay! Bed slept well! The only thing I did not like was the beach porch was super sandy upon arrival. I recommend they keep a leaf blower to help with this issue. Other than that... I enjoyed the place.

Very comfortable beach house

This house has everything! It's beachfront, has lots of space, private bathrooms, comfortable beds, huge well-outfitted kitchen, comfortable furniture, covered porches on both the beach and street with cushioned furniture, ceiling fans, and plenty of closet space (but no hangers--you should pack those!) Being October, it was also quiet both on the beach and streetside. Will stay here again!

Great relaxing stay.

We had an awesome time here. It is in a great location close to everything. It is an older house and could use some updates. Better curtains downstairs and upstairs that cover better and the blinds in main bedroom could be replaced. We will be back, thank you, one of the best vacation stays we've had.

Great beach house with plenty of room and a fabulous back deck!

The house has plenty of room and is at a great location! The back deck has a wonderful ocean view! The gates are perfect for keeping kids from running on ahead to the beach! I will admit the downstairs had a little bit of a musty smell as if it had been wet at some point, but wasn’t bad enough to warrant us complaining. You cannot smell it any where else in the house. Otherwise, this house is perfect for families or a group of friends or couples vacationing together. The beach access, space, and set up is on point. When we vacation to the area again, we’d definitely consider staying here if we need the space!

Glad to hear you enjoyed your time in Shore's Bliss. As for the smell you mentioned, due to high humidity in the coastal area, sometimes we do have a slight musty smell in downstair portions. If a home is ever flooded, we do a complete water remediation. Hope to have you back soon. Lewis Realty

My new happy place

I would love to say I hated this place but I would only do that so nobody would ever book it when I wanted it. Took my 2 young grandkids (infant and a toddler) and my 2 adult daughters. The kitchen has pretty much everything a person could want to cook with and there is a charcoal grill to use. The concept of having a basement mini-apartment helped with having privacy as the people downstairs have everything they need. There were a couple sand buckets and some games in the closet that was nice. Living area is decent but honestly was never really inside except in the evening. Bathrooms are sufficient - nothing fancy in this home but it is still very nice for our needs. The deck.... I woke up in Iowa this morning as my first day back and the thing I realize I miss most was that deck! It is awesome and has an outdoor shower for sandy feet to be rinsed. The location is about perfect - close to the main town area but not too close. Walking out to the beach is a breeze - No hauling coolers etc. because it is close enough to run back and grab food etc. if needed. Overall it was just a great place and we are coming back in 6 months.

Fun Beach House

Well equipt for all kinds of activities. Enjoyed the bikes, which were not mentioned in the description of the house. One of the bikes definitely needs maintenance. Great view on the back porch facing the ocean, with a continuious breeze. Outdoor shower was very nice. Kitchen was wider than in picture, and allowed for several to work in there at once. It was also well stocked with items to cook meals for a family.

Ideal location

This property surprised us. The view from the back deck is spectacular! When it said steps to the beach, it truly is just steps. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you need, although cookware needs replacing. Frying pans were essentially useless. Liked having a refrigerator on lower level and used it to stock all our drinks. Six of us went and each bedroom having a bathroom was great (4 bedrooms/4 bathrooms). Enjoyed the front porch swing too; although the table and chairs need replacing. It would make that space more inviting. They had bikes you could ride. And everything including restaurants were within walking distance including the pier. We couldn't have found a better location our first time to the island. The best part was the beaches were not crowded with people like other beaches (Virginia Beach or Myrtle Beach). Very relaxing and enjoyable!! Will definitely come back to Topsail Island (Top-sul)!!
