Escape to Poppy's Place, an updated second-row beach cottage on the ocean. Just steps from the sand, this stylish, family-friendly home comfortably sleeps your group. An excellent location for your family and friends with a very short walk to the beach. Public beach accesses are conveniently located on both sides of the property at each intersection. Beach toys, umbrella, chairs, and wagon are available in the garage for you. Features include a full kitchen, deck, and 2-car garage with a large driveway for parking or outdoor games. Enjoy the low traffic neighborhood perfect for walking, running, or biking and safe for children with a nice park 5 blocks away. Pets are welcome! Your perfect beach getaway awaits.

Quiet neighborhood with minimal traffic, excellent spot for riding bikes, walking, running, and allowing kids to play safely. Second row, half a block from beach access point with an easy walk for most. A beautiful new kids playground is 5 blocks away, excellent for toddlers and young kids.

Access to restaurants, shops, etc within 5 minutes: drive, bike, or rent a golf cart. In and around the neighborhood you can walk, run, bike, rent a golf cart or drive around and enjoy the area right along the beach.

Wonderful location...within walking distance to shops and restaurants but on a quiet stretch of houses. Excellent communication with owner! We loved sitting on the front porch in the rocking chairs and adirondacks.

Great place!

Poppy’s Place was a perfect place for my friends and I to relax. It’s practically on the beach and has a great back deck. The house was very cute and clean and Amber was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed.

Our stay at Poppy’s Place Beach House in Surf City was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived, everything was spotless and welcoming. The home is not only immaculate but also thoughtfully designed with every detail you could need for a relaxing getaway.We spent the week enjoying the beach, exploring Surf City and Topsail, and coming “home” each evening to the most peaceful, comfortable space. Surf City visit

My wife and I had to make a trip on short notice for a funeral and we were very fortunate to be able to stay here. The vibe of Surf City is very relaxed and Amber’s house was a perfect place to come back to at the end of the day. It was very clean and the location was great for walking on the beach or going into town. Thank you very much, Amber, for your hospitality and the great value staying at your house provides.

Wonderful Stay!

We had a great time at Poppy’s Place. Very clean and has all the basic amenities to include the Keurig coffee maker. Gas grill was great for making a hot dog lunch for the grandkids. Lots of beach chairs and items in the garage. Beach access 10 is the closest but does have stairs. Would stay here again. Great communication as well with Amber.

We loved Poppys Place!

Poppys Place is a beautiful home that was set up perfectly for two couples and two kiddos (although four kiddos would have also fit just as nicely). It is a beautiful home, very clean, and close to the beach as well as many fun areas, stores and places to eat. The owner was kind and responsive as well. We really loved our stay!
