Great river house. This house is being renovated and there are a few finishing touches left to do but it has a cool eclectic vibe and is very comfortable. You can float from the house to Swampy's or the park "take out" in about 2 hours. The river is faster at times. Our family of 10 adults was very comfortable.

I love Rainbow River. House is in location as described. Main issues are lack of upkeep inside and outside. Outside is a bit of a mess w/ weeds and general lack of upkeep. Inside is spacious but many baseboards, etc. missing or never attached. Again, an okay river house but just a little grimy overall.

This was our second time in this house and once again we had a great stay.This house is located in a perfect location on the river. We paddled from the house nearly every day. Inside there was plenty of room for our group with large enough common areas where we can gather.Unlike some other rental properties, there is ample parking for our group of adults traveling from different parts of the country.

Beautiful View of the River

The house Is charming and is very spacious. The access and views of the river are outstanding. It is convenient to stores and restaurants on 41 but I'm not sure you'll want to leave once you get there!

10. Adults came to enjoy the water.-that we did!However, the house pictures do not represent well.Much improvement needs to be made. Many things are left undone and under construction or needing repair. Crumbs and mold within and trash /junk on outside . This space has potential. However, we were highly disappointed and had we not looked forward to our stay. We would have backed out upon arrival.On a good note-the AC worked great, and most of the beds were comfortable.

Everything was as displayed. There was plenty to do for the kids and plenty to do for adults within driving distance. The host was very pleasant and answered any questions that we had. we had more than enough space and then some for extra guest if we needed it. Some renovations downstairs were not complete, but it was still very very nice and we will definitely stay here if we come back.

Thanksgiving

My dad, my grandmother, my sister and I and our spouses and kids met here for thanksgiving. The large table with views of the rainbow river was a perfect place for a perfect meal. I grew up on those waters and enjoyed spending my holiday there. The house gave us plenty of room to be together but also have our space. We used the kayaks and tubes and enjoyed every bit of our stay. Thank you so much for opening your property to us

Great property, excellent host!!

After going through 2 hurricanes and really should have cancelled our trip we decided to go anyway as it was much needed. Jonathan revised the dates to one day later to accommodate our "storm" dilemma, no questions asked - he even messaged to say we could check in early and sent the door code. The property was in a great location with a perfect spot for swimming. It has an amazing view and all of the comforts needed. The beds were fantastic and the home is super cozy - even a basket of welcome goodies in the fridge. The dock was perfect for our boat and although we didn't use the kayaks or SUP's there were plenty to use. Great for larger family or friend groups - we go to Rainbow many times a year and will definitely stay here again.

Location and Size!

Had a fantastic stay here. Can't beat the location - the ability to jump into a crystal clear, spring-fed river in your backyard can't be understated. The included kayaks, stand up paddle boards, and tubes allowed us to go upstream towards the springhead and float downstream (Swampy's, a great restaurant, is about a two-hour float away). The house itself was really large and included lots of sleeping areas (4 bedrooms, 6 total beds, 2 couches) so it'd be great for friends or a family get-together. One bedroom is downstairs so could be good for those who struggle with stairs/inclines. The deck and dock are basically brand new. We grilled outside on the gas grill which was nice. At this point it's clear that it's a newer vacation rental property, as there are some quirks and things to sort out, but it was perfect for our needs. Communication with the host was easy; check-in/out a breeze. There was a grocery store maybe 5 minutes away, and a Wal-Mart maybe 10 minutes away. Overall had an excellent time here and can't wait to come back! Thanks!

Great space for a large family. Rainbow River was so refreshing and the deck was a hit during the day and at night. Nicely decorated with comfortable Beds, plenty of towels and fully stocked kitchen with a great table. Clean and comfortable lounging areas too! Two bedrooms/ living room on first level were great for our older kids because the apartment has its own entrance and gave them some privacy. The house was a bit quirky and needs some repairs… but it has a lot of charm. Would stay there again!
