This brand new built charming garden cottage in Vermilion boasts 1 inviting bedroom space. This is a great executive rental or a quiet couples get away. Nestled in a peaceful setting of 15 acres and lots of open fields, this tremendous property offers everything guests need for a relaxing getaway. With amenities like a kitchenette with cookware and dishes, Keurig coffee maker, refrigerator, toaster oven/air fryer, and microwave. Included are WiFi, heating, AC, TV, DVR player, hair dryer, make-up mirror, and clothes steamer. You'll have all the comforts of home. If you don't feel like cooking and want to stay in, there's a great carry out/delivery place 2.4 miles down the road.
Outside the back cottage window are goats and chickens within arms reach and regular sightings of deer, wild turkey, and American eagles. Additionally, we have an event center accommodating up to 100 people is available to rent.
Lake Erie and its beautiful beaches are a few miles away along with many quaint stores and restaurants. Cedar Point and 3 major water parks are a short 20-30 minutes drive. Not to mention multiple Metro Parks throughout the area and many local wineries to choose from. Whether you're exploring the nearby attractions or simply unwinding in this cozy living space, this cottage is a great place to call homebase while you're away. We hope you enjoy your stay.

Adorable cottage on a beautiful property. We had everything we needed for a lovely stay to celebrate or anniversary. Quick drive to downtown Vermilion for shopping, restaurants and the lake!

Quiet Weekday Getaway

Conveniently located near Vermilion (OH), this charming little getaway was wonderfully quiet and provided a wonderful retreat for my wife and me. We shopped, and dined nearby, kayaked at a beautiful estuary, and enjoyed the farm atmosphere. We will definitely return.

Amazing weekend getaway

What a perfect spot for a weekend getaway with my husband!! Christine couldn’t have been more hospitable to us, the cottage was charming, clean, and comfortable! Located on a beautiful and refreshing property with private lake/beach in the back for relaxation and unwinding! Also its location is only 10 minutes from all the shops/restaurants in downtown vermillion! We are so thankful we found this place and will definitely be back!

Countryside/Lake Erie Getaway

The cottage is so quaint and adorable. The property is so serene. We enjoyed sitting by the beautiful pond at the back of the property. Personally, I loved watching the goats and chickens. The hosts were so kind in allowing us to visit with their animals up close. I would love to return for another stay someday

Weekend family trip.

This was a very nice cottage with interesting surroundings. It was on a property on a quiet country road outside of Vermilion. The grounds housed the cottage, an event center, pond, and a building business. The cottage itself was clean, quiet, well equipped, and well built. It was exactly what I was looking for....instead of a hotel. I would definitely stay there again.

Great Little Place!

This little cottage was a great stay! It is the perfect size for two on beautiful property with goats and chickens right outside! It is conveniently located to a convenience store and pizza shop as well as not too far from the town of Vermillion. The hosts were super nice and responsive. We hope to stay here again!

Perfect Cottage and Property!

We loved our overnight stay and only wish we could have stayed longer. This was the perfect cottage for two people and Christine was the most gracious hostess. The property is beautiful! We'll definitely be back!

We had a lovely stay

The cottage was perfectly clean and quiet. It had a cozy feel but was much more spacious than a hotel room, so it was nice to be able to spread out. Our host provided all the details we might need such as wine glasses, plates, silverware, tissues, a selection of movies, and a nice coffee maker. Contactless checking was a breeze, light switches were thoughtfully labeled, we could control the thermostat, and how nice to watch the goats while we drank our coffee in the morning.

Very clean and comfortable. Host was great! The bathroom is very small and without a counter but using part of kitchen counter worked for us. It was fun to see the chickens and goats in the distance.

Very cool and modern little cottage

My wife and I attended a wedding nearby at a local winery and couldn't find any hotels in the area but found this gem of a little cottage to stay at. Perfect for just two people. I would definitely stay here again if in the area. Could use a full length mirror though says the wife.
