Welcome to SKANDIA GUEST SUITE located at the top of the premier church hill neighborhood. This unique romantic getaway is within easy walking distance of downtown Bayfield with sweeping views of Lake Superior and Apostle Islands.

The Guest Suite features SCANDINAVIAN DECOR, LUXURY KING SIZE BED, PRIVATE BATH WITH SAUNA, a separate living area with a mini service nook, sofa/futon, TV Wi-Fi Internet. This 545 sq. ft suite has its own private entrance and patio over looking Lake Superior located in the most desirable area of Bayfield.

Great little place for one or two to stay while enjoying Bayfield and area. Good exercise to walk the hill to and from Bayfield. Very pleasant hosts.

We had a great stay! The Skandia Guest Suite is perfectly located if you plan to spend time in town in Bayfield or have it as a home base for exploring the area. Everything was as listed, and the hosts were wonderful.

Rest and relaxation

We had a wonderful stay! This space is tranquil and relaxing. It is within walking distance of beautiful downtown Bayfield. We enjoyed the relaxing sauna and had one of the best sleeps ever!We would definitely stay here again!

Comfortable accommodations in a very quiet spot above Chequamegon Bay.

This unit is in a very quiet neighborhood with a nice view. The king size bed is cozy, and the sauna is a nice plus!

Very nice!

The property is a very cute, well decorated, walkout basement with a cute little patio. It was a very peaceful and quiet location. Communication with owners/property manager was great. Nice sauna, too!

So convenient

This rental was very comfortable, clean, and met our needs very well. It was so convenient to all the activity in Bayfield ... just a one or two minute drive to the marina or downtown. It was a bit too steep of a walk for us, but it certainly is possible. We would definitely recommend this to others.

Bring a plunger

The place was clean and nice for a short stay especially if you don’t need to go to the bathroom. My biggest complaint is that I had to use the plunger more for two days than I do for an entire year at home. And this is from someone who lives in woods with a well and septic system.

The property definitely needs a better way to hang clothing brought by guests on hangers. Coat hooks just don’t work out very well. Also a box of tissues would be nice. Otherwise all good.

Great Suite in Bayfield

My wife and I rented the suite for three nights during the Apple festival. Everything was as described in the listing. The suite is located on the ground level of a three story house. It has a walkout patio that overlooks Lake Superior. Property was super clean and well equipped. Bed is comfortable and big. The only shortcoming was lack of true kitchen which we were aware of so it wasn’t a surprise. Apartment is equipped with a small kitchenette with no sink and cabinets. All utensils and dishes are disposable. That is spelled out in apartment description. Location of the apartment is super convenient, it is about a three block walk to downtown Bayfield and the ferry dock. There is a super nice hiking trail that is a block away from the suite. Jenna, the local host was responsive and accommodating. Staying at Skandia was an excellent experience overall. Thank you!
