Peaceful & Beautiful scenery. Nicely decorated house. Good water pressure for showers. All of our daily amenities were met. Great location. We would rent again.

This house worked out really well for a week long family vacation of 11 (9 adults, 2 children). There are 4 good-sized queen bedrooms upstairs that share 2 bathrooms. Also 2 king bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, one downstairs and one set up as a separate in-law apartment above the kitchen. The kitchen and eating area was spacious and set up well for a large group. There was also plenty of living area for people to spread out and be comfortable. One minor irritation was the coded entry door that was difficult for children (and adults) to routinely go in and out of. There's plenty to do in the area. We did some exploring of the cute town of Cape Vincent and Tibbetts Point Lighthouse, some fishing, kayaking, hiking, boat tours, Bolt Castle, nearby State Park beaches, Lake Ontario beach day (Southwick Beach is amazing), plus just playing lawn games in the large yard. It was a memorable week for everyone.

Room for Everyone!

This property was perfect for our family reunion! The 6 bedrooms were perfect for our group along with two living rooms with couches for naps and that one relative who just stayed for part of the trip. We made good use of the outdoor fire pit each evening. It was also close enough to all of the Thousand Islands activities, but not in the middle of the tourist area.There could have been more towels, the bed linens weren’t great and not a lot of cleaning supplies, but we made do. Be sure to bring your own beach towels! We had an issue with the door lock, but the host came right over and took care of it.Overall, it was a great stay for our large group.

Fantastic all the way around

Views were stunning. Plenty of room for our cousins reunion. We had 8 adults with more than enough room. Our host was responsive to our questions. Would stay there again. Easy to get to and close to attractions.

Great place!

The house was beautiful with plenty of space. Glad to see the a/c in the upstairs as it was unexpectedly warm the last weekend of September! Would definitely stay again!

This home is so beautiful and clean! Everything we needed was already there, the house had plenty of room for all of us to spread out for a four day weekend! Our host was very accommodating and kind. Were had a great trip! Definitely recommend this property.

Excellent Stay!

This house is beautiful. Lots of space. All the beds were comfy. The kitchen/dining room was a great gathering space with a nice view of the St. Lawrence river. The location was convenient to Cape Vincent, where you can catch the ferry to Kingston, CA. And Alexandria Bay, where you can take a boat tour of the 1000 Islands and Boldt Castle. The host quickly responded to our questions. We will definitely be booking this house again!

Nice place to stay near Cape Vincent.

Plenty of room for all of us. Beautiful decor, comfy couches, soft beds. We were not expecting A/C but it was there for us. The two units couldn’t quite keep up with the extra warm weather. So grateful for this large home with a view!

A Vacation to Remember

We were apprehensive about being the first renters of this property but those fears were quickly put to rest when the owner met us on site and walked us through the house. We were amazed at not just the beautiful views of the river, lake but also the upgraded amenities inside the house. From the beautiful large kitchen appliances to the cabinet full of every small kitchen appliance we could hope for to the multiple digital fireplace/heaters, the awesome shower fixtures, and the large washer and dryer it was obvious that at lot of thought and effort was put into preparing this property. Cape Vincent itself was a cute little town and also a good jumping off point to drive up to Kingston Ontario for the day. I would stay here again without hesitation!
