This charming home, recently renovated, in the heart of Merida, has 2 spacious bedrooms (one king, one queen) with ensuite bathrooms, large living area and kitchen that open onto patio with swimming pool. Stairs lead to lovely furnished rooftop terrace. Fully air conditioned, with all the amenities, washer/dryer, wifi, Tv, BBQ,....this house is the ideal place from which to explore the restaurants, shops, and sites of Merida...all within a short stroll of the property. Weekly cleaning and all utilities are included.

The host was so helpful. I loved this home- it was really beautiful and comfortable. It was also an amazing location. We could walk to Santa Ana Park, Santa Lucia Park, Paseo de Montejo. There were great cafes, restaurants and bars right around the corner and it was wonderful. This was my third time in Merida and this was by far, the best location.

Great Space!

We loved the house! It was the perfect size, the pool was great, and a wonderful location. Yes, there are live music venues in the area, but the sound was minor inside the house. We thought it was nice to sit outside and listen to the music in the evening, without having to go out. Adrian was great to work with and very responsive!

This is a lovely, even jaw dropping gorgeous, house located in the heart beat of beautiful Merida. You couldn't be any closer to great restaurants, charming shops and nightlife. You can hear the beating of Merida's nighttime heartbeat but it is not bothersome, climb to the lovely rooftop patio and embrace the night.....or better yet go out and enjoy it.The bedrooms and bathrooms are well stocked with quality linens, lots of hot water and toilets that accept flushing the T.P.The kitchen boasts a filtered drinking water tap, full sized appliances, good quality dishes and cookware. The pool is unheated but we swam everyday. The rooftop deck is lovely but safety for children may be an issue, as the steps are steep and railings are open.We can say honestly that the home far exceeded our expectations, as did the neighborhood. Our host was only a text message away for any inquiries but left us to our privacy.

Without a doubt, the best aspect of our stay was the manager, Adrian. Every need or issue we had he immediately dropped everything and took care of it right away, he made us feel like celebrities! We stayed for 4 weeks and the place was ideal, the kitchen was well stocked and with the rooftop grill and deck, it worked perfectly for cooking our own meals. The location was great, walking distance to everything, including bus station for Progreso and popular pickup spots for tours along with the museums, main market, and Paseo Montejo. We only had a car for the first two days of our stay. It is very close to La Negrita, a popular cantina w music every night. We spent many nights sitting out on the deck and listening to their music while sipping tequila. In the bedrooms, with the AC on, all but the bass fades away and wasnt too bad. The AC worked great in all the rooms and quickly cooled the rooms off. Given the adjacent wall height, the pool never got any direct sunlight, so it stayed very refreshing and was a welcome dip after coming in from walking around. Mosquitos were a minor annoyance and were minimized by running the fountain and using repellent. Definitely a place that would work great for short or long visits.

Super Location, Clean and Terrific Manager

Could not have asked for a better manager than Adrian. He secured transportation for us from the TREN MAYA station where the infrastructure is still in process. He is extremely responsive to questions and went overboard to help us with several issues. The house is in a wonderful location. Friends who are light sleepers were in front bedroom and bothered by music from down the street. It was not an issue with my husband or myself. Upstairs outside terrace is a bonus. Too cool for pool but it certainly would be wonderful in hot weather. The half bath is located off the kitchen and is small. Couple has done a lovely job with renovation.
