Cottage was part of the 110 years historical hotels when Ritz Carlton managed the resorts. Private own now have no relationship with the current Langham Pasadena hotel.

Enjoy this unique hundred years old historical icon location in Los Angeles with only less than half of the hotel’s rate.

Chris' VRBO is in a great location in Pasadena, close to everything. The cottage is clean, private and has large bedrooms. Chris provided really clear instructions for getting to, and into, the cottage. We had a great stay and would rebook with Chris.

Great vacation place for family

We had great time in Chris place, very spacious rooms and has all facility family needs: washer and dryer, kitchen and utensils, dishwasher. We are able to access the hotel pool, the hotel property and neighborhood around is quite and beautiful. Thanks for having us Chris.

The house is nice and the host is top notch. Very attentive and always answers any communication promptly. Truly tone of the best hosts we have had at a rental. It is in a very safe neighborhood that is quiet and has beautiful places to walk. There are no laundry facilities and no oven in the kitchen, plus a lot of stairs into and out of the place. A really nice place to stay in Pasadena if you don't want to stay at a hotel, but want hotel facilities such as jacuzzi and swimming pool. You won't be disappointed.

Impromptu Stay

We live in the area and had to vacate our home to refinish the floors. The environment is spectacular and the residence was perfect for our needs. Family of 4 with small dog. The property owner provided very prompt and thorough communication. All-in-all, a very positive experience!

Great staying

This beautiful villa is a special location with a classic LA vibe and lovely landscaping. The place is extremely comfortable and spotless clean. rooms and bath are very large and clean. CAL king size beds are comfortable . Enjoy the 85” TV in our room. The grounds of Langham are beautiful and welcoming. We prepared meal in the well equipped kitchen and went to poolside cafe for the breakfast. Also went to Jazz Bar one of the night. Chris was a wonderful host. available and very accommodating and responsive. We had a very enjoyable stay and would absolutely stay here again highly recommend this place. Beautiful resort experience for a fraction of the cost of the hotel.

Langham Stay without Langham

I stayed at Chris' place last weekend. Check in was very easy, directions were very easy to find and the cottage was spacious. Host was always available via text and the cottage was stocked with waters, snacks and fruit. I have stayed at The Langham many times (previously Ritz Carlton), but never have stayed in the cottages. I found the cottage to be much quieter than the hotel rooms. A big perk for me was not having to wait for the valet parking, especially during peak times. There is a walk to the parking spots, but much shorter than the walk through the hotel to the elevators. Since the service at The Langham has continued to go downhill in recent years, it was nice to not pay Langham fees and still experience the beautiful grounds.

Sanctuary

My 5-star review is for the host, Chris. From the moment I reached out following the fires to the end of our stay, Chris was dedicated to making sure my family and pets had a home. We stayed at this property for a month and enjoyed countless walks with our dogs in the beautiful surrounding areas and enjoyed a couple lunches at the Langham. If you’re looking for a shorter term, cottage stay this property is great. The balcony off the back provides stunning views and iconic sunsets. For longer term stays there are a couple challenges. The kitchen has a couple induction plates and a large toaster oven for cooking and the kitchen is combined with the living room in a small space. The bedrooms are HUGE so we used one of them as the family room. The laundry is shared with other units and is outside down 20 or so steps. Parking is about 50 yards away up 20 or so steps. Chris will take care of you!!
