Great spot on the lake to relax!

We had a great trip. Everything was comfortable, clean, and the spot on the lake was incredible. The boat dock and slip was amazing and we will be back soon!

Always a great place for us to stay. We bring our boat and really appreciate how well it's protected. The boat ramp is private and gated and allows for parking of our truck and trailer. The back patio is shaded well and the grill is convenient for burger and steaks.

Great Property.....

We absolutely loved it. The location on the lake was ideal for us. The property was clean and very well appointed. The coffee pot is a little wonky, but we made it work. They thought of everything. The beds and furniture were comfortable and inviting. We felt very much at home. The outdoor seating was well thought out and had everything we needed for a great stay. We are already planning our next stay. One of our new favorite places...

Wonderful family stay-cation!

We booked for a little weekend of family time (close to home). It was cold and rainy, but we still had a great time together. My kid loved the foosball table and games. Smooth process with booking, communications and check-out. Beds were cozy- we all slept well! We loved sitting out by the water watching the birds and such.

Awesome house.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit at the lake house. We caught some catfish right off the dock. It is located in a quiet community, but not to far from the city of Willis. The only thing I would change is to provide a 10-12 cup coffee pot, especially for a house that potentially holds 8 people. We hope to return soon. I highly recommend.

Nice shady spot near the lake.

We used this place for family staying for a local wedding. The nice upstairs "loft" area was perfect for the groomsmen to hang out together. One room has multiple bunk beds, so it would be perfect for a family with kids. The house faces such that the lakeside of the house is nice and shady and it was very pleasant back there, with plenty of space to relax.

Great place for boaters on a nestled cove

The house was great. I was able to park my truck and trailer for a 25ft boat along with 2 other vehicles and we kept our boat in the water during our entire stay. Boat slip is at least 6ft deep when the lake is full. Coming back to the house for lunch or after a sunset cruise was very relaxing because the cove is tucked away from all the heavy traffic lake conroe is known for. The back patio gets plenty of shade in the afternoon. Beds were comfy. Master bathroom has a nice big shower. AC worked well. Host was very responsive and understanding. I can't imagine why anyone would ever have a bad stay here.

Great place on the lake!

The marlin house was great! The pics and descriptions in the listing do a good job of accurately describing the property. The location is very good. The cove is quiet and fairly sheltered. I brought my boat and the dock worked well, had good lighting and outlets. The private neighborhood boat launch is a 5 minute walk from the house and also very nice. There’s good fishing on the North end of the lake and this location is great. We caught some nice catfish right off the dock. The house was perfect for my wife and two kids. Lots of room and well appointed with good kitchen equipment. We made dinner a few times at the house and had everything we needed to cook. I also used the Weber charcoal grill. We spent most of our time out on the lake and sitting on the patio. Great neighbors also. We felt safe and the neighborhood was nice. I would definitely stay here again.

The Marlin House was awesome, can’t wait to return! There were no issues utilizing the ramp access or the boat slip for my 22’ center console with T-top. 120v is available at the boat slip if needed. The house was clean and everything was as advertised. Very satisfied.

High Scholl Fishing Tournament

We had a great time. Enough parking for a truck with bass boat attached and two other cars. Boat slip was awesome and worked great. Enjoyed sitting outside in the evenings on the docks as the sun went down. Quite neighborhood and close to town.
