A single family house with 4 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms - two master bedrooms and two single bedrooms.
The private swimming pool, approximate 700 sf pool. It is a regular pool (no hot tub).
The convenient location to Houston downtown, Houston zoo, Galleria mall, Stadium etc, many restaurants and bars
Walk to the bus station.

Easy access to everything

It was very easy to get everywhere we needed to go. The pool was lovely. The beds could have been more comfortable (maybe needs a mattress topper?) and there were some deferred maintenance items around the property that need attention (water damage in the ceiling of one of the bathrooms, debris around the back yard, sagging soffit, old trailer left in the carport). That said, this place was clean, had good a/c and wifi and plenty of space. We may book it again next time we are in town

Price aligns with what you get

Overall, it was good. The owner was easy to work with and very responsive. We didn't experience an issue during our stay. The rental is in a quiet part of a neighborhood that is "rough" in my personal opinion. While we did not experience anything negative, there are locked bars on all of the windows and the surrounding stores/right down the street area does not feel very safe at all. The main drawbacks are listed here: lack of furniture and kitchen dishes (i.e. side table in bedroom, not that many glasses or overall dishware). In the hottest part of the September heat, the house would barely stay cool and the bedroom in the back of the home was so hot; basically unable to sleep in it (our opinion). The bathroom in that room has no air either and it also doesn't have outlets to for blow dryers, etc. Also, the towels need to be replaced. Most of them were filled with rips/holes, especially washcloths. These types of things go a long way in a rental. Overall, it worked for our stay but these are simply things I would make other renters aware of.

The home was very clean and the neighborhood was quiet. Great location to downtown and loved Spanky’s and Dutch Brothers coffee.
