Wonderful winter getaway

The property was perfect for a 3-week break from Minnesota winter weather. Open, spacious, updated decor that was clean and adequately stocked with essential supplies, including condiments, a few coffee k-pods and bottled water. Temperatures were in the 70-80's but dropped into 40-50's at night so the pool temperature never really got warm enough to enjoy but still comfortable sitting poolside. Hot tub was easy to access and quite relaxing so that made up for not being able to use the pool. Jessica was a marvelous hostess who provided information needed prior to arrival and promptly responded to all our questions before and during our stay. Neighborhood was generally quiet but lots of on-street parking, especially in the evenings (I think maybe some neighbors were gathering for Ramadan). Overall, it was a great vacation spot with access to lots of activities in the area and many good dining spots.

We were in Houston for Valentine’s Day weekend. Enjoyed hot tub very relaxing, to cold for pool. I noticed it was very clean though. Good communication with Jessica, quick responses to our very few questions. I’m sure we will be back to this property.

Welcoming getaway

House was clean and pool/outdoor area was immaculate. Host made the experience feel seamless and was quick to respond/ provide assistance. She went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and made us feel welcomed. Just to note, the kitchen is lacking some basic things such as pots and a dishwasher. The freeway is quite loud for those in the back bedrooms. Other than that it was a great experience for myself, my partner and my family.

Our host was great. Our 10 day stay went by fast and we managed to get good use out of the pool as the weather cooperated. Definitely some traffic noise but didn’t interfere with anybody’s sleep. House was clean and all amenities were as advertised.

Great place. Some bathroom sink drainage issues and close to freeway so kind of loud. No fan for cooking ventilation. Other than that everything no was great.

Comfortable & Relaxing

Aside from the weather, it was a wonderful stay. Disappointed that we weren’t able to utilize the pool and jacuzzi as a result of the nonstop rain and cool temperatures, but the house was nice and cozy. We were delighted that cards and games were provided and the beds were nice and comfortable. The house is very spacious. Our host, Jessica is the best! Any question, at any time she responded if not immediately, in a matter of minutes! Always, always pleasant and accommodating. We definitely recommend this property! You will not be disappointed!!

Last minute get away

We booked this home for a last minute get away, everything was wonderful. Great communication with owners. The shallow end of the pool was perfect for kids playing or just relaxing. Definitely would stay again!

Fantastic Stay

Jessica was an absolute gracious host. The team had a fantastic stay. Just wish we had a little more garbage can space. I felt terrible as we checked out cause we had to leave some bags next to the can. Thanks for checking in on us and the tournament. We will definitely be back next year if she’ll have us back!

We bought this home with intentions of keeping it so it custom designed to our liking! My husband actually did the entire renovation - top to bottom - and I am now the manager of the property. I'm very happy to be able to enjoy this beauty at my own leisure and also share it with travelers like you! We have a perfect family dynamic to help share our rentals all throughout Houston .

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

Lovely home that was bought for the entire family. We wanted this to be a vacation-style home for all walks of life; starting with my business people: high-speed internet, all rooms have an accessible outlet, an extra chair, and or a desk to set up!
For my leisure-travelers the pool is definitely the highlight feature of this home; We plastered the Pool, keeping the deepest end of the pool 8ft but shortening the smaller end to about 2ft (toddler-friendly height).

And we can’t forget the Backyard. Plenty of outdoor space perfect for entertaining including a small pit for a good wood-fire for cold nights, a charcoal grill for some nice steaks next to your private pool, and a beautiful covered seating area with patio furniture.
There is seating in the deep end and also seating in the entrance of the pool so you don't have to completely submerge. Because of how deep the pool is a heated pool is not feasible so we integrated a Jacuzzi since November of 2021!

The house sits in a very convenient location not in the heart of downtown (away from all the chaos) but close enough to have convenient travel times. ETA's in Houston are all over the place average travel time will be anywhere from 15 - 30 minutes depending on where your traveling to and if it is prime time traffic!

Parents of PETS: In the event you need to bring your pet please discuss me via the portal to make the correct accommodations.


Nonetheless it was a fun project that turned out spectacular! Every finish was well thought of even the floors are porcelain anti slip floors so you shouldn't have any trouble coming in and out of the house from the pool! Please enjoy!

Easy parking and extra parking 2 in the garage, 2 in the driveway + FIRST COME FIRST SERVE parking directly adjacent to the home. 6 car parking maximum. You are right off of the biggest looping freeway, better known as, the Sam Houston Tollway, that will take you to all major Houston attractions! Very tight community and friendly neighbor (almost no one has changed in over 25 years) and as mentioned before there are many accommodations for small children. The best part of all your own private pool and jacuzzi.
