Great place in Bonne Terre

It was a great spot for us for a quick trip to do some rock hounding and wine tasting. Would stay again!

Very clean and updated.Friendly neighbors.Will and Chrissy were very nice and gifted me some Missouri Lace Druzy and told me about the history of the property. Property owners were nice and answered questions quickly via email. My only suggestion would be to get a mat by the shower door. Other than that, our stay was nice and comfortable. I would stay here again.

Comfortable stay

The Lux checked all our boxes and was a clean, affordable, and comfortable lodging option in the area. Ground level access with no steps. Our family would stay again.

Bonne Terre Hidden Gem

I never guessed such a nice spot could be found locally. The bed is very comfortable. My hubby and I both needed a couple days of rest. The Lux provided not only rest but a very peaceful setting. Super clean and well stocked with plates etc. Towels were super soft and nice.

Evaluation

The coffee maker did not work and the issue was not resolved. We could not get free local channels on TV. We could hear people upstairs walking around. The place was clean and conveniently located.

Quick weekend stay

We stayed here as we were visiting family on the lake and the cabin is still being renovated so we just needed a place to sleep. Description of property was accurate however the bedroom with the bunk beds has no door. This was problematic with young kids as lights and talking easily traveled into that room. Our only issue was this is an apartment on the bottom floor. The neighbors above were clearly throwing a party each night and the music was LOUD. For this reason we didn't have a good night's sleep and are pretty tired. I know this isn't on the owner but something to be aware of. Otherwise, the place was as described and worked for what we needed.

Quick trip

The location was fine, a little questionable people living in the neighborhood. I did not have access to the washer and dryer in a manner that was easy for the person renting. The property owner was not timely in response to this issue and I was never notified of where the washer and dryer was actually located. I was told it was in the basement but the property did not have.a basement. After phone calls and several texts I gave up and was never able to utilize the facilities.

Second stay at this location

We arrived to a beautiful clean apartment. It's so convenient to the hwy but in the neighborhood and quite. We will be coming back to the area next year and if available we will stay here at the Lux. The owner Kevin is quick to respond to questions. He's a super host.
