Beautiful views of the mountains and piedmont seconds off the Blue Ridge Parkway. The Retro Bungalow offers breathtaking views with a nostalgic vibe. A cozy home with a large deck to have coffee, a meal, or just sit, relax and soak in the scenery!
Swing on the covered front porch while listening to the babbling creek. We are pet friendly, have a fenced in yard and a gated deck to provide peace of mind and security for your pet. ($25 pet fee) Step inside and back in time!

One bedroom with one King Size bed. Cozy living room with electric fireplace, console stereo and smart tv. Fully equipped kitchen with cooking basics. Dining area. Bar cart to mix up some classic cocktails. Full bath. Spacious, pet safe deck with a breathtaking view! Fenced in front yard with covered porch with swings.

Wonderful experience! Everything was so easy, and the cabin is absolutely charming. It’s perfect for somebody that just wants to really reconnect with themselves, enjoy family and experience some breathtaking views. The whole area of fancy gap, meadows of Dan and the small towns surrounding the area make it such a wonderful trip for those who like to explore., love art and music. We had an absolute ball. Darlene and Peter were perfect hosts.

What a cute little bungalow and a gorgeous view! Had everything we needed for a 2-night getaway. Had not been to this area in Virginia, and this was the perfect "home base" to do some exploring. Would recommend a stay here!

We loved this cozy little house. The view from the back deck was awesome! The owners are truly dog friendly. They had dog bowls, towels, and treats. The front yard and deck were fenced in! The kitchen was well furnished. The only things missing were extra paper towels and trash can liners. It was far our favorite rental through VRBO.

Amazing views, an awesome blast from the past place to stay, an overall great area if you love, peace, and quiet. There are also some really nice trails in the area. And an overall great person to book with. My wife and I and our pup enjoyed our stay to say the least!

Truly relaxing and unique stay. Loved the amenities provided as well as the walk back in time to be among furnishings of my childhood. Superb nature spot so close to the Parkway.

Nice small country cottage right off the Blueridge Parkway. Great place to get away from it all! Had a nice time at the Labor Day Fleamarket in Hillsville, Va. Definitely would stay there again.

Beautiful views, very peaceful. The porch swings on the front porch are delightful, I sat there and read for hours! The fenced yard and deck were great for the dogs. We had a lovely stay.

This is our 2nd stay at the retro bungalow. We love the location. We have friends that live close by. We love the area, being close to the blue ridge parkway and access to many quaint local towns. The best sky colors & sunsets.
