This place was everything we needed. It is accurately described and in the perfect location if you are looking for peace and quiet. We will definitely use this place again when we return to the area.

We enjoyed our stay here with the wonderful view and how well the property is safe for our 2 little Shih Tzu's. The host resonded our questions in a timely manner and we wiuld hesitate to return again some day.

This place couldn’t have been more perfect for a quick getaway for 2. Came up from Atlanta to work in the mountain air. Adorable house, incredible views, super private. The pictures don’t do it justice. Host was easy to contact but we really didn’t need anything anyway. Just check in questions. We’re already discussing our return.

We were greeted by a flurry of butterflies as we arrived-such a lovely sign of the week ahead. It was our first time in the area and we enjoyed exploring as well as relaxing & reading on the porch & deck. The view is awesome! We loved the singing of the katydids in the evening as well as some live music at the Blue Ridge Music Center (twice). Did some exploring along the Blue Ridge Parkway and hiked a few trails. Thank you for generously providing such a lovely retreat! Hope to return!

What a cute little bungalow and a gorgeous view! Had everything we needed for a 2-night getaway. Had not been to this area in Virginia, and this was the perfect "home base" to do some exploring. Would recommend a stay here!

Wonderful experience! Everything was so easy, and the cabin is absolutely charming. It’s perfect for somebody that just wants to really reconnect with themselves, enjoy family and experience some breathtaking views. The whole area of fancy gap, meadows of Dan and the small towns surrounding the area make it such a wonderful trip for those who like to explore., love art and music. We had an absolute ball. Darlene and Peter were perfect hosts.

We loved this cozy little house. The view from the back deck was awesome! The owners are truly dog friendly. They had dog bowls, towels, and treats. The front yard and deck were fenced in! The kitchen was well furnished. The only things missing were extra paper towels and trash can liners. It was far our favorite rental through VRBO.

Amazing views, an awesome blast from the past place to stay, an overall great area if you love, peace, and quiet. There are also some really nice trails in the area. And an overall great person to book with. My wife and I and our pup enjoyed our stay to say the least!
