Welcome to your serene retreat nestled on 14 acres of picturesque land, complete with a tranquil pond and accommodations for your equine companions. This charming log cabin features 1 bedroom furnished with a luxurious king size bed, providing a comfortable haven for up to 2 guests. It has 1 full bath (with towels, hair dryer) living area, smart TV, kitchen (with all necessary utensils, spices, coffee, filters and even ketchup, mustard and mayo), full sized frig, range, & microwave. Step outside to your expansive deck area and soak in the natural beauty of the surroundings, perfect for relaxing. Explore the 14 acres and enjoy the quiet tranquility. Grill provided upon request upon booking. We want to let our guests know we are beekeepers, hives are over 500 feet from the cabin, they are busy working and will not bother anyone. If you would like to see them up close and personal, let us know, as we have an extra bee suit and we will take you on a tour. Everything was great. We enjoyed our stay. The weather didn’t cooperate as it was chilly and blustery.

It was a last minute trip & non refundable as a result. Unfortunately, I got sick & we ended up not going. I spoke with the host, Andrea and she was lovely. She did her best to try to make things work for us, but in the end it wasn’t going to happen. I would absolutely recommend the property based on my interactions with her alone & intend to get down there for a long weekend at some point in the near future.

Loved the gorgeous location, wood interior and exterior, and the spacious porch. The bedroom was lovely - very comfy king bed. We liked the split shower head option in the bathroom too. The kitchen was well equipped for our cooking needs - new and very nice appliances. Everything was very clean! The property was so quiet and peaceful - great for sleeping or just relaxing on the porch. The beehives were cool to see as well as the trails around the property. Even in August, there were some lovely wildflowers around. The host was very responsive and gracious. Would definitely recommend for a peaceful country stay close to Granbury and Glenrose!

Fun Cabin Experience!

I’ve never stayed in a cabin before, but needed to stay close by as our home was being built. This was a great cabin experience and really a fun place! Very clean and host is very responsive. We had a lot of fun there! Our sons came to visit and loved it. Think next time we will rent the big cabin along with this one in the spring.
