I’m so glad you had a relaxing stay:)) I definitely want you to come back and visit once we’ve done our updates to the back yard and “party barn.” We will also be adding another full 2nd bath and updating the other bath with a big shower and adding more spa like touches;) I’m enjoying finding special things to make the place more comfy and love having such wonderful visitors like you!

Decorated very nicely! Clean and inviting place to stay! Wish there would have been an easier access to sitting down by the lake…but everything was great.

Thank you Korinne:)) I definitely agree with the yard and we are in the process now of adding levels and walls down the yard to the lake. Yay!! Removing some of the trees was the first step and we are waiting until things slow down in September to continue the process. I would love to have you back once we remodel. We will be adding a hot tub out back as well as turning the big barn into a “party barn.” I’m very thankful we’ve had such amazing visitors!!

Absolutely LOVED this place. Clean, relaxing and lots to do in the downtown area. I can’t give a high enough rating for the host. So responsive, accommodating and kind! We will definitely return!

Thank you Jamie!! You guys were wonderful guests:)) Definitely come back and stay with us once we do our remodel later this year. We will be adding levels to the back yard, a hot tub and turning the big barn into a “party barn” yay! We will also be adding another full 2nd full bath and remodeling the current bath to have a bigger shower and spa like feel:) I’ll definitely look forward to having you back!

The view of the water is nice from the upstairs deck. The weather was hot so, we could only enjoy the deck in the early morning hours. We were lucky to see the owl on our last morning. I did suggest to the host that the deck should be wiped down/dusted and free of spider webs before guests arrive. My corgi stuck her face through a spiderweb :( The deck was pleasant after I cleared it of webs and debris.

We're so glad you enjoyed the water view from the upstairs deck and even got a glimpse of the owl on your last morning. We hear you on the spiderwebs — being right on the water is wonderful but it also brings its share of bugs and critters. Our cleaning staff does their best to clear the deck with a blower between guests, especially during this busy back-to-back summer season, but we know those webs can sneak back quickly. We appreciate you letting us know and hope your pup wasn't too startled by her encounter.

The kitchen is minimally stocked. Not many utensils. No dishwashing liquid for frequent cleaning of what is there. No hair dryer. Very few washcloths. You can’t safely get into lake water if you are older and can’t get to outdoor space easily. It was cool except one bedroom and they provided a nice fan for that room. Neighbors are quiet. Lake view is nice for morning coffee.

We're glad you enjoyed the lake view, quiet neighbors, and that the fan helped keep that one room comfortable. On the kitchen, there is dishwashing liquid and pods in a jar under the sink, and while we stock utensils for a family of four plus barbecue and cooking tools, we'll be adding a few more. A hair dryer has now been added as well. As for backyard access to the lake, we recently purchased the property and are planning a yard renovation to add levels, which will need to happen during the off season.

We're nestled right on the water, which offers a wonderfully peaceful, dark night sky. To ensure our guests feel comfortable, we've installed beautiful outdoor hanging lights and are continuing to add more. Because we're directly on the lake, seasonal outdoor bugs are normal, but we treat the property weekly to keep the interior pristine. We appreciate your helpful suggestions regarding the kitchen inventory, hairdryer, and iron as we look for ways to enhance our guest experience!

Great Place

This place was great! We enjoyed the accommodations. Covered parking, beautiful back porch with views of the lake. Not far from town to enjoy the historic downtown. Fishing right on the property. We will definitely come back!!

Balcony overlooking the lake? . . . gotta love it!

Such a peaceful place. This was our second stay, in as many years, and once again a great place to relax and take in the natural beauty of the lake from high above. We enjoyed the house again also, and look forward to eventually seeing the remodel updates, hopefully soon! Well worth the price for this rental.

Beautiful location beautiful view

Nice clean quiet place to stay. Very homey and comfortable. The few is awesome over the lake from the back porch/huge balcony. Drops down a steep slope straight to the water where you can sit and enjoy mornings or evenings. You could also fish off the edge of the concrete dock if you want. Highly recommend utilizing the city beach for swimming. It's the best beach I've ever seen in land at a lake. So easy, so clean, so comfortable, and the sand is perfect there. Just a great location, great town, and great host!
