Great little condo. The location on the creek was soothing. It was off the main street which allowed use to enjoy the creek and forest yet just a short walk to all the shops and restaurants. The condo had all the necessities and check in and check out was breeze. I would stay there again.

The location was great for humans; but there was no easy potty access for the doggies. You had to walk a bit to get to grass and first thing in the morning, late at night, or in the pouring rain, that was extremely inconvenient. Always grateful for pet friendly though.

Location was great…close enough to walk to everything if you have no issues walking. traveling with dogs so glad it was pet friendly. As others have said, not any grassy areas to walk dog but we made do with rocky areas near the parking lot. Unit was fine. The positives: it was spacious & well enough appointed, beds comfortable. The balcony over the river was fantastic! I spent lots of time out there. The woman at check-in was very friendly. The negatives: I deliberately booked a unit with no carpet because smells from other dogs are never a good thing. Evidently there had been a plumbing issue with the one I booked so we were told they had to move us one floor below to a unit full of old carpet. It was badly stained from other dogs’ accidents. Sign on front door clearly said non-smoking unit, yet when we opened the front door, the smell of cigarette smoke was absolutely everywhere. We bought some room freshener spray and dealt with that issue on our own. While the important things were clean (bathrooms, bedding) the rest of the unit was not very clean…coffee table and end tables had what looked like food smears on the glass…a few crumbs on the kitchen counter. The unit(s) are old and in desperate need of updates! Wouldn’t take a lot to make them very nice. There was a bag of trash scattered on the hillside beside our front door. Not sure if it was from bldg above us or something a bear got into. All in all, stay was fine but prob would look elsewhere next time.

The condo is a little outdated but it is fine for a vacation rental.

Great place to stay

Easy ck in. Always messagwd me back. Also gave us 2 free tickets to a show and easy ck out. Even gave me a late ck out. Loved this place sooooo much. It was close to everything which was great since my dad is disabled and could ride his scooter everywhere.

It is alittle outdated but worked fine for us. There were a couple things that I would suggest addressing - the master bedroom bathroom has a broken faucet and lamp that doesnt work. The kitchen could be stocked alittle more and the coffee pot could be updated. These things are minor but make a difference in someone's stay. We would stay there again though.

The condo (three eleven) was pet friendly and appeared clean but the living, dining and two bed rooms were all carpeted and somewhat stained. Can't understand why they wouldn't replace it with an easy to clean laminate. The condo itself was quite roomy and had everything we needed for our eight night stay. The cable and wifi worked well and the beds were pretty comfortable. The livingroom sofa and loveseat were comfy too, although all the furnishing, fixtures, lighting, shower curtain and bedspreads were extremely dated (ninety's at best) but again everything was clean (minus the carpeting) and the location was perfect! I've stayed in the hotel across from it before and I enjoyed being right at the last stoplight on the parkway before heading into the smokies. The Gatlinburg Trail (dogs allowed) is an easy two mile hike to the Sugarlands Visitor Center and literally right around the corner from Park Place on the River. And the nightly rate was defintely reasonable in comparison to other rentals with the same sq ft and amenities. I would definitely stay here in the future, if available, and would recommend it to others. Oh and Donna, the office manager, was very friendly and accommodating and made us feel very welcomed.

Review of Park Place Condos. Unit 311

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unit 311 was in rough condition. Blistered paint on bathroom ceiling, mold on balcony ceiling. At least one of the stove eyes did not work. Cheap PVC furniture on balcony . One morning as we were walking down the stairs to leave for the day a maintenance man fired up a leaf blower on the fourth floor and proceeded to blow dust, leaves and dryer lint off the fourth floor walkway down on me and my wife and grand daughter. No consideration for anyone who might be under him.The info pamphlet given at check in stated no smoking . It even mentions a $100 fine for smoking, yet every morning and afternoon the balcony under us had smoke billowing up so bad we could not sit in our balcony . We had to go inside and close the door. I called the front desk about this and they did not answer. I left a message about this and they never called me back. This is the second time we’ve stayed at Park Place Condos and it will be the last.

Check in was smooth. The condo was clean and had everything we needed. I did have to go back to the office and ask for a hair dryer since there wasn't one in the unit. We had a view of the woods and it was very quiet. Another good thing was the directions for the TV. I have stayed in condos where there are several remotes and no directions. This place had very clear directions. I would definitely stay here again.
