Great Location

The location was really convenient, with a park and grocery within walking distance. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay again! House was comfortable and in a cute neighborhood.

This little house was clean and comfortable!! I always say the most important thing about a night away from home is a good mattress and pillow. This host has made a great decision to provide VERY comfortable beds. Wish i could give 6 stars!!

Great Stay!

Four adults stayed for four nights. Easy check in and communication with owner. Clean nice living area and stocked kitchen. Bedrooms are comfortable. It looks like the vrbo app. Good location in a nice quiet neighborhood.We would stay here again. Thank you!

Lovely place - great setup

What a lovely little place with three great bedrooms (and beds!) and two bathrooms. Everything you need and nothing you don’t, easy communication too. We loved our stay in this delightful place in a great central location!

Short stay for an Illini football weekend and the property was great! Very clean and comfortable. Property owner provided details before we arrived/good communication. Nice rooms and the beds were comfortable. We didn’t have time to use the hot tub but the owner had prepped it for our stay. Would stay again!

Came to Champaign for a relative's Memorial Service. House was nice. No laundry facilities but we were only there 2 days. House is clean and quiet.

We were there for six nights to move our daughter into her apartment to attend the University as well as a ceremony. The house was very clean and had bonus supplies and spices and an un-advertised bonus! Great communications with our host. The host answered two of our calls right away. A very quiet neighborhood near beautiful University Avenue, close to groceries, mid-town Champagne, Urbana, and University of Illinois. We arrived during a heat-wave and the A/C did not disappoint. The water pressure was great. The beds were comfy. The furniture was in great condition. Ample parking. The appliances were very clean as well. I’m not sure if we would have used one because we ate out every where, but maybe an outdoor grill would be beneficial to future renters. Thanks to our host!

Cancelled my stay after time to check in

I tried to reach the property host a 1/2hr before check in to receive check in instructions as I had not received them yet. It was 20 minutes after check in that I tried calling and could not get thru. Messaged him again and he finally wrote and said they had to cancel due to repairs needing to be made. Sorry for the inconvenience. Luckily we live an hour away so just came home but was very irritated that he could not let us know sooner that he was cancelling. VRBO was no help at all. All they could do was say they were sorry.

Thank you for the review. I have apologised to you for this inconvenince already multiple times over messages. I would still like to apologise once again. The last tenants damaged the property so much that I couldnt comprehend the damage over call with my cleaners. The time between the two reservations were just not enough to mend things. I didnt wanted my guests to stay in a wrecked place. I refunded you fully and on top of that I had to pay additional cancellation fee vrbo. Thats not what I wanted but sometimes things are beyond my control. I just had no choice but to cancel the reservation. I couldnt have responded earlier as by the time I reached the place after my cleaners informed me it was a bit too late for me to inform you (The exterior stairs were damaged including many other things- The previous guests literally trashed the place). I have had bad tenants before but this time it was unlike anything I have seen even after hosting over 1200 stays in last 4 years. I wish I could have helped you in a better a way. I am glad to hear that you lived an hour away and hope the full refund must have been of some help.

Property just as expected.

The host had great communication and our check in and check out process could not have been any easier. Everything we needed was there. Suggestion to add a wine bottle opener in the kitchen. We had our own but for future guests that would be a nice addition. We purchased scissors and left them for future guests. Bed linen, towels, wash rags, bottled water, coffee, body wash, shampoo, & conditioner all provided which was extremely nice. The hot tub was really nice and very clean. We would recommend cleaning up the front and back yard and making the back door easier to lock & more secure. These things did not bother or inconvenience us, just recommendations. Thank you for being great to work with and for trusting us with your property. *Bonus house is within walking distance to DD, starbucks, 7Brew coffee, dollar tree, Walgreens & so much more. We also used Uber to attend a wedding in Champaign and had no issues.
