We love Carillon Beach and have stayed at Pinnacle Port for 15 years. The unit was just as pictured and was neat and tidy upon arrival. We were disappointed that we contacted the property manager about an issue that we were told would be addressed but it was not prior to our departure. Otherwise, our stay was a great time with family.

Some of the furniture needs to be updated like the sleeper sofa. You sit down on it and you feel like you are hitting the floor. We had to pile the extra pillows on it and cover it with a sheet, to even sit down on it. We had to have the cleaning crew come back out because they missed changing out the sheets..

Pleasant, with a Few Flaws

Overall, this unit was nice and adequate. The seating space for the dining and living areas was good. The beds were nice and ample, having king-sized beds in two rooms and two fulls and a twin in the other room. The issues that we had were the following: the sink drain was clogged in one bathroom and did not get fixed until near the end of the trip, the dryer vent was full of sand and did not dry well (not to mention the hazard of the vent line being full), the air filter for the A/C unit was completely full and we had to change that ourselves, and the property was shown to prospective buyers during our stay and we had to accommodate that. Also, there are no oven mitts or dish cloths/sponges to wash dishes, no cleaning spray, and there was only a broom with which to clean floors. For the price, there should be at least a swiffer or mop if no vacuum is provided. There were some hairs in two of the showers and the cleaning team should have gotten those. Two beds upstairs were not made up when we arrived, as well. A few other items to consider stocking for guests are extra hand towels for the kitchen, a mop, and lower balcony chairs. The seating height is high, given the railing height and proximity. Children could climb too easily and have disastrous results. We had six little ones under the age of 8. Lower chairs would be a better choice for the size of the balcony. We did enjoy our stay, even given the lack of attention to details and maintenance issues.

Still rather have ocean front, but took this one as last resort

The mattress was horrible upstairsCould not get freezer door open as placed too close to wall The elevators continue to break down as they do every yearAsked repeatedly for fitness code and was put off daily. Never got from this rental company.
