Property was good. How water from the well had to be managed. Only a charcoal grill, gas grill would have been nice. Hosts were very accommodating. Nice that it was a single story, no steps to travel up and down. Would stay again.

Relaxing weekend getaway

We enjoyed our time at white lake. Everything you need is close by and it is a nice neighborhood to walk around. I also appreciated that Tia has made efforts to make the property kid friendly

We had a great time fishing off the dock and taking the kayaks and peddle boat out on the lake. The house was perfect. Everything was clean and easy. We were able to just enjoy our time there without worries.

Summer family stay

This place was really awesome. It was cozy, had everything we needed and some extras! The pontoon rental availability is very convenient. The property was so incredible, it felt like we were up north experiencing lake life, the kids absolutely loved it! Will definitely rent again, the owners were incredibly kind, attentive and went out of their way to ensure everything was perfect for our entire stay! 10/10 experience for sure!

Family Reunion

We stayed at this lake house with my brother’s family. 10 of us total. It was a perfect weekend. Plenty of space, easy check in/out, prompt responses from owners. We rented their pontoon as well, which I recommend…lake is fun to cruise around.Highly recommend staying here.

Pontiac lake

House and beach were great. Lots of room for big group. Checkout policy a bit too much (wash and dry beach towels and empty dishwasher). Beds were comfortable and tvs in every room. Kids bunk room had lots of toys and games.

This was the most amazing Vrbo or other rental I have ever stayed in! The setup of the house was perfect, with plenty of rooms. We really loved the kids room with the great bunk beds. Two kids fit on the bottom bunk of the two bunk beds, so it can sleep six kids.The master bedroom had a king sized mattress (hard to find these days at rental properties), and it was extremely comfortable! The other bedrooms were also great. They had a long dining room table that accommodated everyone. The property itself is amazing! Huge backyard facing the water. Kids brought their fishing poles and fished off the dock for hours. We bought a kids baseball setup and they played for hours. They also loved the sandy beach area and made lots of sand castles. The property is absolutely perfect both for adults and children.And the hosts could not have been more responsive and proactive!

Weekend getaway

Our family had a great time! Place was clean and spacious. We had lots to do with all the outdoor activities! One thing I would say is that the main room gets warm if you leave all the curtains open, the sun beats down in there. So if you close them up during the day it stays much cooler. Would definitely stay again!

Wedding and family reunion

Wow how beautiful the location and views even in mid March. Loved the pet pen to easily and safely let out the our pup. Our max # was 11 but loved if that more could stay if needed...pullout couch. Open living design made it easy for at least 30 people in doors...the house was great!

Small Family Reunion

This lakehouse was well suited for the 11 members of our family. The large dining room table accommodated our meals and was used for games and cards during some rainy weather. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very clean; the kitchen was well equipped. Some of the furnishings and contents were dated, but functional for all.

Fantastic Family Reunion! Tia was quick, friendly, and helpful with any questions. Home was well furnished and clean. Beds & linens comfy and fresh. Blankets soft and cozy for the cold weather. Lots of decent pots, cookware, plates, etc. House layout great with thoughtful choice of # of beds and sizes. Beautiful windows for view over water. Excellent big table for family games (lots of choices games/books provided!) Lots of parking when extended family came for dinner. Overall everyone was very impressed with this property. We would definitely book again! :)

Nicely appointed home with lots of great hiking nearby

After a few college visits, we extended our MI trip to include the weekend. Very much enjoyed our family time here. If you are planning on doing a lot of meal prep, we could have benefitted from packing a baking dish, mixing bowl, garlic press and wine glasses. Definitely pack paper towels and garbage bags. On our last night we were set to grill out but found a prior guest had used the grill as an ash tray and the grates were pretty rusty so we relocated our cooking endeavors inside. Regardless, the house and location did not disappoint and we’d stay again. Enjoyed Indian Springs Metro Park and Independence Oaks.

We're sorry that you feel that way, Stefan. Unfortunately, this is not an accurate portrayal of events. You attempted to cancel the evening before you arrived, which goes against any vacation rental policy. We reached out to you in an attempt to accommodate your situation. You would not reply. We had no idea if you were still coming? This put us in a precarious situation. We could not cancel your reservation, but we could not give your your reservation away either. What were we to do? In fact, we never did hear back from you at all until you posted this completely unfair and untrue review.
