Enjoy peace and seclusion at this cozy Lake Huron beachfront cottage. With 100’ of private shoreline, it’s the perfect place to relax in a safe and quiet atmosphere. You can see Mackinac Island from the beach and on a clear day, you can even spot the Grand Hotel from your chair!
Renovations have just been completed on this two bedroom one bath home on 1.5 acres. Directly across from the #9 Snowmobile trail and just minutes from Mackinaw City and Cheboygan, there’s no end to the fun you can have!
The space
Please note that there is a pathway to take to our beach. It is all our property, and it has some wooden boardwalk sections.

The path distance can vary depending on season and lake levels, and is roughly 500-600 feet long. But don't worry, we have added solar lights along the full path so you can easily enjoy the ambiance of sunsets and nighttime bonfires. We also provide a cart to move items back and forth for your convenience.

Great place to stay!

This is such a cute little place to stay. Very close to Cheboygan and pretty close to Mackinaw City. Beautiful setting. Would stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay! The cottage was comfortable and clean. Close to Cheboygan and Mackinaw City. The kids really enjoyed the s’mores. The sunrise from the beach was beautiful.

Inviting and Cozy

The little home is perfect and is very cozy and inviting! Clean and has little extras that you may need! They provide smores and coffee which was a great little surprise! The fire pit by the lake is beautiful, peaceful, and private! Would recommend to others!

Great spot for Mackinaw adventures

Beach vibe cozy cottage in convenient location to Mackinac but away from the crowds. The walking path down to the beach is magical. Just enough room to make simple meals in the kitchen and unwind after a day out and about. The dishwasher was out of order, but they provided paper plates. Read the tips carefully. I didnt figure out how to turn off the bright led lights on the hvac units until the last night. Host is easy to work with and I think their price is fair. They even left smores supplies for us as a nice touch! Recommended.

Adorable Getaway in the Lake

We were absolutely in love with the Blue”Bear”y Cottage while visiting the UP area. Its location 12 minutes away from Mackinac City and Cheboygan made it perfect to go explore. We spent a day on Mackinac Island, drove up to Pictured Rocks, went to White Fish Point, and Headlands Dark Sky Park. Then we actually cancelled other plans to spend a day in the cabin because we loved it so much. The host provided us with a s’mores kit, and we were able to have a bonfire roasting marshmallows right on the lake! I gave the check-in a 3/5 purely because we had issues communicating through the VRBO app. Once the host realized this, I received texts, emails, and phone calls with all of the information I needed. So poor reflection in the app, not on the owner. It was an absolute dream and we would love to stay again!!! 10/10 experience!

I would not recommend renting to Jo. Our home had an issue she brought up, which we immediately worked to try to remedy. We offered her the option to cancel her stay to move somewhere else and she declined, and did not want to leave. We told her we would give her a partial refund since she wanted to stay. She also asked for a late checkout, which we were happy to accommodate. She was pleased with all the effort we went though during her stay. When she left, our cleaner said the home smelled strongly of marajuana inside, and is against our rules. This costs extra in cleaning, and when I mentioned this(even though I did not charge her extra), she threatened a one star review even though we made the accommodations she asked for and gave the refund.
