Great spot for a night in Hartford. The apartment has everything you need in a walkable location to restaurants, bars, theater.

Very difficult process to gain entry. Made for a disturbing amount of wasted time especially with older relatives trying to navigate entry.

Awesome and surprising spot

Everything was great—super clean and cozy. So quiet it was startling. There were large common areas and the laundry area has a ping pong table and pool table. Super fun stay!

I am impressed with the Lux Private Loft. Absolutely Gorgeous!!. I hope to return. The kitchen area, enormous shower, large screen t.v. I will book again as soon as possible.

Good and Bad

Location was great. Lots of things to do and many nearby options for eating and drinks. View was disappointing—dark and one window facing a brick wall. Biggest complaint was neighbors and noise—first two nights there was loud music and parties until early morning hours.

Visiting Hartford

We came for the night and the location was perfect. In walking distance to bars and restaurants. Clean, easy, no complaints. If there is a game/event at the XL Center then you should know that on-street parking may be difficult. This isn't a problem, just something to be aware of.

The location was great for our needs, attending concert across the street. Unfortunately we did not sleep the two nights we stayed. Music playing until 4am and loud noise outside room bright and early. Not sure if it was housekeeping or just someone who has no regards to others sleeping. Also upon arrival refrigerator was not working. Realizing it was not plugged in and not conducive for having perishable items upon arrival.

Great for One Night Last Minute Stay

We needed a last minute place to stay for one night and this place fit the bill. The place was clean. The amenities were sparse but we didn’t need to do any cooking. The only issue was that the apartment is right above a large industrial electrical outdoor trash dumpster and workers were disposing of trash at 3:00am. The machine was loud but the workers were also audible. It happened again at around 8:30am. Not sure if this is a daily activity as we were only there the one day.

Adequate, but plagued with problems due to the management company. QR code for the building failed, housekeeping lost the fob for further access. The room was not cleaned, damp unfolded towels in the room. They did offer to refund the first day. But could do nothing about the fruit fly issue.

Entered the unit. Started unpacking and found a prescription pill on the carpet. Not sure how that would not have been picked up by the vacuum. There was only one bath towel for two people. Bathroom sink looked like it was just wiped down. The chrome around the drain was dirty and could be wiped off with your finger. The light in the bathroom, although very bright had a thick layer of dust and bugs in it. The shower curtain had orange on the bottom which is mold. It is advertised as a lux boutique. It's more like a college co-op. There were people in the common area cooking early Sunday morning. They were so loud it woke us up. It was so convenient to the arena for the show we were going to, which was great. Blake did offer to move us to another unit but it was three blocks away. We knew we were getting snow that evening so we didn't want to walk further in the snow.

We travel to this area a few times a year to visit family. Of the options, this has been one of our better finds. Great location, historic Pratt St. has really grown the past few years adding some great venues. Rest of Hartford has also seen growth. The place itself is new, clean, and each floor offers a shared common space. Easy check in / out. Comfortable bed. Basic extras. Small seated/living space, but it is a loft. Noise is a potential issue. Street noise to be expected, but the walls of the unit are paper thin. We could hear conversation in the neighboring unit and one of our nights guests were in the common space until 2-3 in the morning and the noise from the gathering made it difficult to sleep. Having ear plugs or perhaps a sound machine would help. Communication prior to arrival was excellent, after not so much. We had a question about how to operate the t.v. that went unanswered. Street parking available for a fee (after 6 and weekends no charge) there is not always a space available, but there is a lot nearby, also a fee. Overall we were satisfied with our stay.
