The home was beautiful! Loved the comfy bed and the fabulous kitchen. We had everything we needed.

The apartment was old but very clean and comfortable. The bedroom was large, the bed was comfortable and we enjoyed the chairs in the living room. The kitchen was not well equipped. We enjoyed our 3 night stay.

Organ House!

We especially enjoyed the fact that there was an organ in the house. We were a little chilly but our host came right over with not one, but two space heaters. It was nice and cozy after that. Thank you for the quick response.

Pretty dirty and lack of supplies

The property was as pictured in the listing. Overall was not a great stay though. When we arrived the place had clearly not been cleaned from the past guest so once I got a hold of the landlord, he informed me that he forgot about our booking. He was there within 10 minutes of my call to clean the place, but it definitely needs some more deep cleaning. There were crumbs in the couch, dirt in the corners, the bathroom tub needs a little deep cleaning, and several of the dishes looked dirty so I had to clean everything before using it. Furthermore, there was 1 trash bag in each trash can with no extras. The landlord had to bring over a box of trash bags. There was also no extra dish soap or hand soap and it was running super low so we had to ration. No extra paper towels and no wash cloths for showering. We ended up buying some because that is a necessity. I am definitely a little more of a clean freak than the average person, but I personally would not stay here again due to the need for more deep cleaning. It also said there was a washer/dryer and there was not (at least in the apartment. We did not venture out into the shared hallway, but personally think we should have been told where it was if it was outside of the actual apartment) Last thing is that it was in a bit of a sketchy area, but we got over that quickly. I would recommend staying inside though and keep the doors locked. The landlord was very nice, but like I said, it need better cleaning.
