If a place is advertised as a rental house, one assumes there is on-site parking. I would not have rented this without it had I known. I was then informed that there was parking in front of the building and that a few blocks down the street was public parking, but that I was coming during fall fest. The night before I arrived, I found out that the parking in front of the cottage was metered, and the public parking lot was full after a three-hour drive. It took me 40 minutes to go one mile. I could not park anywhere. The "public" parking was $25 from 6AM to 6 PM. Where do I park after that? I went to the event I was there for and decided I had been deceived into renting this place, so I drove five hours home for a total of 12 hours driving that day without entering the property I paid $275.05 to stay at for one night. I want a refund. I would suggest avoiding business dealings with this owner. She is not forthcoming.
