Clean modern apartment

I stayed in town to care for an ill friend in hospital. I thought I was staying on the lower level of the house. It was actually an upstairs apartment with outside access & steep stairs to take your luggage up. I was hoping the host would be flexible with my check-in and check-out since I was looking for accommodations to sleep during day and leave for hospital in early eve. each day, He was not. It would be an extra $20 for every hour if I wanted to stay later or check in earlier. I was disappointed Johnathan was not flexible at all, since I was willing to check out in the eve. instead of the morning. Peoria has bad tasting water, though the host provided a filtered pitcher in the fridge, it was an old filter and needed replaced. The bed was comfortable, the apartment was clean and modern, tasteful & simple decor.

I booked this location with the understanding that there were two beds. One bed in the den that was actually a closet. There wasnt much silverware, and coffee cups so we had to wash dishes. NO hand soap in the bathroom. And only TWO HORRIBLE PILLOWS ON THE BED. NO EXTRA ANYTHING. The bed was very comfortable, but I had to by pillows bc the ones provides were so thin. Extra linens and pillows would have been great. Also a bigger trash in the kitchen. A bath mat by the shower. And said baloney was the porch entrance. I thought I would ha e some outdoor seating, that was all the other rental attached to my location. It was clean and cool.
