This place is absolutely amazing! The host is great, the house is beautiful inside and out, there are tons of amenities. We celebrated my husband's 40th birthday there and could not have asked for a better location. Everyone loved it!!!!!

Overall weak/ unsatisfactory stay. There were multiple health and safety hazards and broken tile and glass outside, sharp rocks around pool, insufficient towels and supplies and hardly any kitchen equipment for a house that size. Foul moldy smell coming from gym and back carpeted bedrooms. Upstairs A/C died at 1 :00 am was horribly hot. (Host said I should have called at 2:00am to fix have fixed -what?). We were out tubing all day so did not use AC all day! Host then used my VRBO insurance to pay to fix ac unit. Very shady. Only offer from host to remediate was a discount on next stay! Fat chance. Stay away - This place is not as advertised.

Our stay at the house was remarkable. The house was beautiful and the grounds were even more incredible. There was so much to keep everyone entertained and big enough to give everyone space, if they needed it. The pool area was so much fun, everyone enjoyed the outside fire pit which provided the perfect ending to perfect nights with smores. Roy was always available and super responsive. We had a wonderful time at the Big Haus. The house was perfect size for our group of 20 or so. While a strange layout of the home it was nice. The pool was the big hit. On an honest note, for the price per night over over 2000, they do need to stock the home with daily necessities like, paper towels, soaps, spices, baggies, nicer towels pool towels, more trash cans, trash bags, etc. while most people will bring their personals and own food, this is a must for a house of this size. The game room needs to have couches in front of the fireplace and lounging area for people to chill and relax. There was not enough seating in the home to accommodate a large party. Roy was very accommodating and did get us everything we asked for. He also let us pop fireworks which was awesome to end our great crawfish season company trip. I would definitely recommend the home for any type of large event, however since it is a new rental, they do need to work on a few things. Thank you for letting us stay. We all had a wonderful time.

5-Star Family Reunion Paradise!

Our group of 10 adults and 13 children had an unforgettable stay at Roy’s amazing home! From the moment we booked, Roy’s communication was top-notch, ensuring every detail was covered. The house was spacious and perfect for our large group, with plenty of room for all age groups to do their own thing. For the active bunch, we loved running to the stop sign and back for a quick 1-mile workout, hitting the gym, and relaxing in the dry sauna—bruh, as my kids would say! The daily cookouts at the cabana bar by the pool were a highlight, with corn hole battles (adults took the win!) and s’mores by the fire pit creating memories we’ll cherish. Life was good!Our family travels from different areas for an annual reunion to keep our bond tight across generations, and this place was the perfect setting. Roy checked in regularly to make sure we had everything we needed, which made the experience even better. We’re already counting down to next year’s stay! Highly recommend!

Big, beautiful Haus!

We celebrated my husband’s 50th birthday here. 40 people came for the day and enjoyed the large indoor party space and outside pool, hot tub and bar. About 15 of us stayed the night and there was plenty of rooms. Beds were comfy, house was clean, lots of amenities and a great location. The owner was great, lots of communication leading up to the event and gave me a tour when I arrived. We plan to rent it again in the future. Highly recommend!!

Great stay

We had a group of 6 families with kids and teenagers joining for the long week-end. The property is as advetized. All common rooms were very pleasant. There is plenty of activities to do as family and for each age group. It was just a great week-end at the property.

Interesting property with lots of indoor and outdoor spaces.

The 5 of us had an enjoyable stay. We had planned on 7, but 2 had to cancel. Even with the 7 there would be more than enough space. The house overall is in good shape, though the bedrooms are an odd configuration. Plus, between skylights and windows it's impossible to block out light. The kitchen is nice, but is somewhat limited in furnishings. We never found a toaster, and not many pots and pans if cooking for a large group. As only 5 we mostly ate out. It does have a really nice large grill outside as part of a very nice outdoor kitchen. It does need some fixing up though. Also a nice pool and spa, but weather was too cold and windy to use. I think the description as an event space is most accurate. I think it's more that than a place stay. The main bar area has an enormous open space, there is a separate pool room with another small bar, and a nicely outfitted workout room. But things are spead out. It was 85 steps from our bedroom to the kitchen. And while there were 3 TVs, if you want to watch network TV you need to have apps that work on Fire TVs. House does not have connections.

Awesome Rental Property

Hosted a golf trip with 24 30-something year olds. We loved the house and amenities. Billiard room and party room with card table got a lot of use. Sauna / pool combo in the morning got us feeling right before our rounds. Roy was awesome at showing us how to operate all of stuff in the house and answer any questions. If I could recommend two things it would be don’t skimp and get the good TP and maybe get some more bunk beds or cots / bedding as the guys weren’t thrilled about double bunking with each other.

Amazing Sisterhood Retreat

Roy was amazing and let us have our chapter retreat at the property which included around 110 18-23 year old girls! We had so much fun at this place and we hope to be able to come back soon! We had so much fun having a scavenger hunt around the property and the spaces were able to hold all of us comfortably during the day! All of our sisters are so grateful to have had this experience at this place and didn't want to get out of the pool! Thank you so much for having us!

Excellent for a LARGE group, love this property!

We brought a group of 22 for this trip down to New Braunfels for a weekend river float. We wanted to stay in the area the night before and hang out together, so we found this location that was large enough to accommodate our entire group. We were floored by how EXPANSIVE the house and grounds were. There were many different amenities inside and outside, both. We intended to use the pool primarily when we arrived, but unexpectedly a major storm cell came through the area, and dumped rain and lightning on us from around 6pm until 11pm. Any other property I have stayed before, this would have been a terrible stroke of bad luck. But due to the large size and quantity of activities, we had a better time inside than we would have outside! Some of us played cards on the poker table, others shot pool on the awesome pool table, etc. After awhile the rain finally stopped, and we made our way back outside to enjoy the pool and cabana, and even some time in the VERY clean and maintained hot tub. The beds and rooms were very comfy, and there were SO many bathrooms. Highly recommend this location for anyone looking for a large group stay in the New Braunfels area! The management was amazing and gave us a full walk through upon our arrival to acquaint us with all the property has to offer, and was in quick and easy contact whenever we had questions to ask. A++++++ , we intend to come back next year.

Good Times

We rented the property for an end of summer staff retreat. The house is HUGE with so many great areas to hang out for small groups or as a larger group (we had 20 people). Outdoor seating areas and the pool are fantastic. Location is great with easy access to New Braunfels and San Marcos.

Perfect Getaway off of I-35

Our host Roy was very helpful in getting us situated when we arrived. He was a very laidback host that was also accommodating which made our stay stress free. The house is amazing, it’s very large and the pool is perfectly accessible from all parts of the home. It is ready for whatever the occasion, relaxing peace and quiet or enjoying time listening to music while swimming or enjoying the hot tub. The house also had a very nice sound system which was another plus to our stay.

Spacious home offers something for everyone!

This is a very unique property, allowing 24 adults sleeping space, and grounds that accommodate many more. Our family gathering was more enjoyable because of all the amenities. Pool table, ping pong table, beautiful pool with many chairs and lounges, hot tub, pool house with a cute bar were just awesome. Huge exercise room and sauna didn't get used, but only because we were having such fun with everything else. A fire pit topped off the evening, (with a generous supply of firewood) and the cute solar lights surrounding the pool area were really charming. Check-in was easy, since the host remotely opened the gate and left the front door unlocked. He provided a walk-through to help understand all the light switches and controls. Bathrooms were very clean and welcoming and the kitchen was great- large coffee bar area with both kinds of coffee makers was a necessity for this large group. There are two folding tables in a storage area that facilitated serving food for so many. All in all, a wonderful stay, and we would definitely return for our reunion another year.

The massive 9,000sqft Big HAUS is nestled on 18-acres and includes a significant list of indoor and outdoor amenities.
Although only .7 miles from I-35, the property is easy to access, yet very quiet, peaceful and suitable for many outdoor events.

In addition, the property sits only .5 miles from the world-renowned Texas Ski Ranch, 4 miles from many major retailers and restaurants and 6.3mi from the historic Gruene, TX, which offers music shopping, tubing, food, etc.
