The ride up was beautiful and the site itself was amazing! I did not think the pictures accurately represented the property - it was amazing and perfectly kept but there were a lot of stairs and we have a child with mobility issues. We managed and enjoyed our stay!

Really loved so much about this place. After hiking all day loved coming back to a hot tub! Kitchen was set up nicely. Had everything we needed. We all plopped in the living room with TV, snacks and games. Such a blast!

The house is adorable and mostly secluded, good for relaxation, especially with the hot tub and entertainment center. Would definitely like to visit again for a longer stay.

Graduation Long Weekend

We had a wonderful stay! There was more than enough room for our family of six. I wish we hadn't been so busy during our stay. We would have definitely enjoyed spending time out on the patio. Wonderful secluded setting with lots of wildlife!

Easter family getaway

This property was perfect for what we needed! Tons of yard and grass for the kids to find their easter eggs and nice patio area in the back for gathering. And a hot tub bonus!!Laura was the best host, replying almost instantaneously each time I messaged, which was only a few and not for anything serious. I would definitely stay here again! FIVE STARS!!

Very cute home for your family

Enjoyed this home alot. It was extremely clean and was supplied with everything we would need for a family vacation. Not too far from Smith Mountain Lake and also had convenient restaurants and a grocery store (Food Lion) nearby.

Great Rental

We really enjoyed our stay here. We came here for a fishing tournament and this was a great place to relax after being on the water all day. My 7 yo son didn’t want to leave!!!

Perfect getaway

We drove up for the weekend from NY for my dad's wedding at smith mountain lake state park. This house was perfect for us and looks just as pictured and described. My son's favorite thing in the world is a hot tub and it was the perfect place to relax. The host was available to help us with anything we needed.

Nice quiet getaway

Stayed for three nights with my wife and two kids. House was very clean and kitchen was well stocked. There were board games for us and a mini foosball table which the kids enjoyed. The backyard was nice and we enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. The Blackstone grill was great and in great condition.The owner responded quickly when we had a question and there were plenty of towels and bedding. It was a great house.

Misleading listing

Property was overgrown with grass, patio was dirty had not been cleaned. Trees growing on bottom deck. Fence was loose. My grandson was coming I called My daughter it wasn’t even safe for him to come with conditions like that!

Nice and clean home with plenty of space. It is in a very rural area. The last part of the road in is gravel and bumpy. The driveway is grass/dirt and the parking isn't very flat. There is a short gravel hill up to the house. None of this is bad unless you have mobility issues or maybe a family member that is in a wheel chair or has difficulty on uneven surfaces. There is a gas station just a short drive down the road with a nice general store for basic items. There is plenty of room for kids to play outside. We stayed for the mountain bike nationals race that was in Roanoke.
